I hate to say it but coincidence does come into play. Be sure you have it plugged in, if so unplug it and see how it runs should run smoother if it is bad, try cleaning the inside of it with brake cleaner while you have it off to see if that helps, if not it sounds like it would have to be replaced.

the high idle is likely the problem. you will probably have to take your car in and have it checked. probably a vaccum or sensor not working right.

Did you reconnect your battery cable? The battery needs to be connected to crank the cars starter. If it is not connected ; reconnect and try to start. If it won't start. Try to jump from another car or get the battery charged at a local auto store (Auto Zone, Advance Auto).

If your battery is connected and in good shape you may have a problem with your starter if your car will not crank. Have that checked out

Your probably push down so it unclips because most snap into place. There could be something if you look up from the trunk.

For a total rebuild it is 12 liter, for a filter change it is 5 liter. But I would check the dipstick if it has to be sure. Hope this helps.

most likely the iac is all gummed up and stuck open. its your idle air control its located on your intake by your throutle body. you can remove it and clean it with some carburator cleaner and spray some up in the intake. or its a vacum leak hope this helps.
