Interesting. Do you have to use the button to get into park too ? The button is designed to help you get out of park.

Time to replace the mirror...the circulating ball must be jammed or worn out...At the bottom of the mirror head that attaches to the windshield is an allen screw head or small Phillips head...this must be loosened for the mirror assembly to pull off of the windshield...Best bet is to try your local salvage yard for a Saturn replacement..."Pic A Part" is a national yard...You should try working with an old mirror so you don't damage your current mounting...of course if the windshield magnet comes off, it can be re-attached with mirror adhesive glue...parts stores and auto dept at Walmart...Hope this helps.

Might be the battery is not taking the charge because it might be bad... Have the battery tested under a load... Most parts stores will perform this test for you for free... Hope it helps...

Looks like it needs adaptation/relearning.

I would say change the alternator out. Start with the simplest and cheapest factor first. Without the alternator keeping the engine running its hard to put it any gear.

the door actuator rod may be off or actuator bad.or vacuum line off

first check your transmission fluid if fluid level is ok transmission is bad and will need rebuilt or replaced

Did you put thermostat in correctly? cooling system should eventually bleed itself of air, you will just need to keep filling. Make sure your not adding straight coolant/antifreeze.

Up to this point in time, mechanic 1 has only done some maintenance work on the car. Things that would be done from time to time to maintain the car.Since you have lost trust in this mechanic, I would go to a different place and have them diagnose the codes. If the second place gives you the same recommendation you can decide what to do.You can tell the second place you are getting a second opinion, or not.

I assume the pump was replaced because it was getting power but no fuel pressure ?Are you still not getting fuel pressure ?Spark to the plugs ?Normal compression when cranking the engine ?Security light not staying on ?

nope....the mirror mounts on the arm like a ball and socket for movement. one of them is worn out...

If you can,drive to Autozone,they can scan your Lexus and test your battery and alternator and tell you why that light is on,it's free and only takes a few minutes.

There is a seperate sensor for the brake pads on right rear wheel of 95 lexus ls400. once worn down it breaks the connection for the sensor and the light will stay on until replaced. I believe there are 2 of these sensors but the one on the front did not need to be replaced on my car.

Is the engine running bad or "misfiring" when it is doing this? It sounds like the beginning of a serious head gasket problem. Or it could just be time for some valve seals. Is the check engine light coming on? I would recommend having it checked by an experienced auto repair technician to avoid possible severe engine damage.

Is it off center???? If so you can get under the car and find where the steering hooks to the rack and pinion.....Should have two-four bolts....loosen them (make sure wheels are straight first,) then have somebody straighten out the steering wheel. tighten the bolts back up and you should be in business.

your radio system is amplified sound system, the amp. is in the rear compartment under the rear window area, need to get the radio car system checked by a professional, they are a little bit complicated. as far as the heater same advice. the alternator and battery ,mainly keep the car going, battery for starting, alternator just keeps the electrical systems on your car supplied with power.
