I have a 1999 Honda Civic recently it started to idle at a lower RPM than normal the car drives fine and the RPMs only drive when I'm at idle speed what would cause this

Sometimes one of the hoses get a tiny vacuum leak that will drop your idle down a bit

My 1995 Honda Civic LX Passenger Floor was soaked with Water After Heavy Rains

Hi when I work for the Honda dealer 15 years ago We found that when a passengers side is getting wet , My best guess is you have air conditioning in your car. I would bet you the problem is the ac drain hose is clogged, it is on the passengers side under the dash, if you look up where you're feet would be just follow the rug up and you will see the hose remove the hose, be careful removing it from the condenser nipple because it is plastic and can break , use an air house and blow any dirt and debris that maybe clogging the hose . When you remove the hose have a Cup or small bucket to catch any water that's remaining in the condenser , This is a common problem . Once you have those cleared and the condenser cleared the problem should stop. Remember to put the drain hose back on , ps you do not need to put a clamp on the hose it is not under any pressure, after you fix the problem I would remove the seats and pull the rug out and hang it to dry, wipe the floor of any water , you may want to put a fan in the car to dry it out, because if you do not get everything dry your car will start so smell like mold and mildew, and the floor of you car will start to rust up, so get it dry, I hope this helps, I promise you that that's where the waters coming from if you have air condition, just remember water gos down hill not up. Let me know how you make out.

I have a 2001 honda

If it were the immobilizer, you would have a security light that would be flashing or staying on all the time the key is in on. Since the engine cranks over and the pump is working when you turn the key to on and start, the green light may just mean the bulb is burnt out or a connection problem with that wire for the light. Not much of a problem there. You said no fuel or fire when trying to start-so that is where to concentrate: you first need to verify that the ignition still is working, so check for spark on a plug wire with the engine cranking over. This could be a main fuse or main relay not passing power on to the ignition system and/or the injector circuit. First check for spark, and if you have spark, check the injector circuit (there is a fuse for the injectors-probably under the hood in a fuse/relay block). If you have no spark, you will have to diagnose the ignition system- coils, ignition control module (the ignitor), the crank angle or crank position sensor, finally the engine computer.

Main relay short

If you had a short you would be popping fuses like crazy. Do yourself a favor and get a schematic to do your trouble shooting so as to not waste time. I assume you have already checked the fuel delivery system, air, and compression so that spark is your issue. If no spark check out coil(s) along with crankshaft sensor and all associated wiring and connectors. Your ecm fires the injectors so you hope that part is working since it is expensive to replace. Oh, a weak spark will fire outside the cylinder but not spark in the cylinder when the mixture is compressed and dense.

The driver's seat is broken in my Honda civic DX Coupe, how do I go about replacing it?

There's a bolt in each corner of the seat frame that goes thru the frame and into the floorboard. Remove these bolts, disconnect any wires, and pull the seat out. Same with the passenger seat if you want to put it on the driver side temporarily. The seat movement control will be on the inside though when you do this. Not a good idea, bit it can be done. Same seats, different actuator lever position.

Air con will not work. Honda civic 2010

if air con is not working it could be the clutch in the ac pump, if you dont use the air con much or use it alot you can either have a seized clutch or a work clutch, without the clutch engaging the pump will not work and not flow around the system, when ac is engaged the idle on the engine will drop slightly.

How to bypass immobilizer

the problem of immersion with a battery connected is that all electrical circuits are affected by electrolysis and power flows everywhere items like the alternator , ECM , sensors, dash gauges and equipment will all be affected Transmissions will have water in the oil and engines will have mud in the rings and bearings to get it operational you will have to replace a number of faulty items and the end result may be extremely costly Better to claim on insurance if you have it and take the car to the wreckers
