95 legacy awd with a slipping clutch

yes the problem is that the pressure plates is getting weak and doesnt keep enuf pressure on the clutch. ive replaced clutch sets on many diff vehicles and when they act like u decribe its usually the pressure plate. replace entire clutch kit and if u decent mechanically u should be able to do it. in a clutch kit they give u a diagram and directions. keep a very good note on what parts u took off where to ensure u put them back in the right place

I have a 1999 Subaru Legacy B4 twin turbo and the

O2 sensor. 99% of the time it's these. First, however, go to a parts dealer and ask to have the codes reset. Drive it for about 2-3 days. If it comes back on, give it another day, and if still on, have codes reset and replace O2 Sensor(s).

Let me know if I can be of any more assistance.

Water leaking from the block

Depends where it is leaking from - could be many things (like head gasket). If it is just a little weeping, try adding a bottle of antifreeze conditioner available from your Subaru dealer - it's about $2 a bottle - supposed to help with that.

ABS lights on even after replacement of sensor

Have the vehicle scanned for codes and do the repairs the codes indicate. There may have been another border line code the first time or tech may have forgotten to erase the code .

The VDC light keeps coming on and the check engine light

VDC is Suburus electronic stability system. You will feel a power loss because the system reacts to driving conditions and if it detects wheel spin it will cut power to your engine. If it is malfunctioning it will cut power at the wrong times. Since your check engine light is coming on too it appears to be malfunctioning. You need to have the trouble codes read by a tech or buy yourself an OBDII scanner for yur car and read them. It should tell you what the problem is so you can fix it.

'99 subaru legacy wagon rear hatch won't unlock

before you pull stuff, go to the back of the car. Instead of pulling the latch (away from the car and towards you) to open the hatch, push the lever in the other direction (towards the car, away from you).

i had this happen to me and read about it online, worked totally fine. It's just stuck towards you and not "sitting" correctly. Hope it works!

The hood of my 99 subaru legacy outback won't shut

Had the same problem... hosed the latch down with WD40 and problem solved. I think salt and road grit build up on the latch. Same thing with the rear hatch release.
