in order to replace the cam seal you have to remove timing belt if tou did not have this problem before you have one skipped thoot on your subaro box engine recheck your timing again

it is on the top of the motor just under the intake manifold. it will look like a wire with a rubber washer around a 14mm bolt.

you have to go to your local garage and have the car computer scanned

check your o2 sensors, use a coder to see if your misfiring, and what cyclinder it may be.

remove the head , remove the cam/s , remove the valve springs and collets / remove the valves , grind in new valves refir is reverse ,get a workshop manual as this is quite a complex job

this will require both head removal so if you are not competent to do the job have an accredited shop do it for you. There are timing belt/chain issues, head tensions, gaskets etc and if done by a qualified shop there will be a warranty issued with the job.

If it was a front end hit it could have set off a switch that shuts down the fuel system. I'm not sure where it is on your car but the owners manual show where it's at. You can just press it and reset it. This is a safety feature.
