My 1999 subaru legacy runs
you probably have a blockage in the radiator cooling tubes, try flushing it with a commercial radiator flush, or replace the radiator-at 133,000 miles, it really doesn't owe you a thing.

I have an oil leak coming from some where in my
Quite possibly a pin hole in the pan caused from rust. Clean the surface area well and patch with metal epoxy available at auto parts store or hardware store. You will have to drain the oil to do the repair.

When i turn the key nothing happens and it won't
1st thing to check is battery connections. Make sure they are on tight.
If so, then check the ground connection.. Negative battery wire to body connection. Check if solid, not full of corrosion or seperated.
Try getting a jump.. It's possible the battery is depleted entirely, if you have a short.

Looking for the kind of fuse needed for a awd 1997
There is a fuse box in the engine compartment on the passenger side labeled FWD and, under normal conditions, should be empty. The user manual indicates that a fuse can be installed in order to disable AWD. This should be done if you are using the spare tire, the car is to be towed w/o a flatbed and when the front and rear wheels aren't the same.
I imagine that the driver checked this fuse box and found it empty and told you the fuse was blown... does this sound about right?
With the fuse installed you will get a warning light on the dash (red FWD) to remind you that your rig is running in FWD mode...
This FWD fuse box is only present on AT models.
Why was the car towed and did they lift the front end or put it on a flat bed?
Cheers,
immorion

During an oil change at jiffy lube, the car drove
Many times when oil appears in your air intake and in the air filter this is usually caused by a plugged pcv valve Positive crankcase ventilation valve it costs anywhere from 3-10 dollars. As far as it not starting my guess is they checked the air filter and left a vacuum hose or airbox open. Some of these vehicle will barely run if an air leak is present at the airbox containing the air filter.Would double check for any vacuum lines that may have been disconnected around the air box and that the box is shut and sealed properly.

Timing belt broke and need timing marks diagram
the timing marks are on the camshaft pulleys and there are 2 notches on each pulley> they line up with 2 marks on the engine block for each pulley> and the crankshaft has a notch that lines up with a mark on the engine block aswell> pluss the new timing belt will have white marks on it that will line up with all of the marks on the pulleys when they are in the right place so its nearly impossable to do it wrong

The battery went dead in
Under the dash to the left of where your left leg would sit is a box. 4" x 4". It is your security box. There is either a red button on it or a wire with a button. push the button for about 15 seconds and it will reset the security system. Good luck and have a great day.

Hi i have got 1997
Is this A/C or entire climate control problem? I have a 97, too, and took out my climate control unit and found debris and spilled liquid on the unit! Liquids play havoc on electrical connectors. Make sure all connectors are clean and thoroughly connected to housings. Check the harness for breaks in wiring. Could have a short someplace. Heat and/or too much current could possibly cause immediate stoppage. Never forget simplest method..... check the fuses both inside car and under hood. If it's A/C as the problem, check R134 level at certified mechanic. Don't run A/C with low coolant - could burn up compressor. Let me know how it goes!

Where is the coolant temperature sensor/switch
While standing in front of the engine, look towards your back left engine area in the corner of the engine. You will have to take off the intake hoses/air box to see it. the sensor is sticking horizontal to the ground pointing towards the front of the engine. I used a little scope mirror to see it. It will have an automotive connector with a few wires running to it. The sensor should have a brown connector on it. If you need further assistance, type in google about the location and someone on there has taken really good pictures of it. I had to move some hoses and disconnect some wiring harnesses to get to it. Also, there is a relatively decent description in the Haynes manual for replacing it. Let me know how it goes! Should be about $30 at parts store.

Noticed what appears to be coolant (greenish
It could be your coolant recovery tamk is leaking, and once it gets below a certain level it stops. Could be cracked or could have a hose leak.
Yjeir could be other possible sources, but this is one I would check first
