Won't turn over. Possibly a key ignition relay problem. Not sure.

Have your alternator checked. It didn't charge your battery enough. Also look at the battery. It may be sulphated and won't charge

There's a rapid clicking noise when I try to start

It could be your battery , sometimes if your battery is not fully charged then it wont send enough current to the starter. To test this either use a battery charger or jumper cables coming from another vehicle and see if it starts.Otherwise it is your starter.Tap on the starter sometimes this will dislodge the problem with the windings in it. If that still doesn't work then you will have to replace your starter.

I have a 1990 Legacy 5 spd. One of the sparkplug caps. keeps popping off causing the motor to lose its cycle. What is causing this?

Is this one of those plug boots that also seals the hole in the cylinder head around it? The plug might be loose,or missing a gasket(if it is supposed to have one). This would allow cylinder pressure to blow the boot off. Or,maybe the plug's porcelain insulator is allowing cylinder pressure to blow inside the boot.

Clutch hit the floor

Something let go in the clutch release and that stalled the engine as you stopped. Go under the car and look for a broken clutch release rod or arm.
