Is it a tail light warning light or a brake warning light. If the latter, check your brake fluid.

I do this from under the car.

I dont think so as the battery shouldent have anything to do with your trans
All batterys are Red lead to feed and Black to Earth and the batterys are markrd (poss+ and Neg--)
so you cannot go wrong..

Your not going to like this....to get to the three plugs in the back you have to put a jack up the car, put jack stands under the front of the car, then you take the jack put a piece of wood on it so you dont damage the oil pan, raise the jack under the engine just enough to take the pressure off the engine mounts. Then you have to unbolt and remove the engine mounts, then lower the jack. now the engine will be low enough so you can access the rear plugs.

RECOMMENDATION...If I were you since changing the plugs on this car is such a pain I would spend a few extra dollars and get the pre-gapped Bosch Platinum 4 prong spark plugs, they last the life of the vehicle and never have to be re-gapped. This way as painful as changing them is, you will NEVER have to do it again.



Otherwise, all you need it a Flexible adapter that can connects to your extension and you can add extensions and reach them from the top..
Still not easy but reachable.

It's quite a job to do,but if your up to it here's the step's.
1 REMOVE THESE PART'S
a. cowl side trim right hand side
b. front door scuff plate right hand side
c. no.2 instrument panel under cover
d. glove compartment
e. with cd auto changer:instrument upper finish panel
f. with cd auto changer:cd auto changer
g. audio amplifier
h. ecm
2 REMOVE CONNECTOR BRACKET SET SCREWS
3 REMOVE BLOWER UNIT
a. disconnect the connector's from blower unit
b.disconnect the wire harness clamp's
c.disconnect the evaporator temp sensor connector clamps
d.remove the 2 screw's,bolt and nut,than remove the blower unit
DISASSEMBLY
1 REMOVE BLOWER MOTOR
remove the 3 screw's and blower motor
REASSEMBLY
reassembly is the reverse order of disassembly
INSTALLATION
installation is the reverse order of removal.

There are two solutions:
1. Go to either Toyota or Lexus dealer to replace your Actuator.
2. Purchase a actuator motor and use the following link to repair your door actuator.

thats is normal for almost all the toyota's
the trans has to get to operating temp before it starts to shift normal.

change or have the computer looked at. they are known for going bad.

could be your fuelm pump is going out on you.

Well if you took 11 or 12 hours to swap out a transmission you would not be a mechanic for long, I used to get them out in about an hour to hour and a half, depending on how hungry I was. You will have to take the lower tie ball joint loose on the side the transmission comes out with drop the tie rod end remove the brakes on that side swing the a frame out and pull the axle half shaft out on the same side disconnect the shifting mechanism unhook the wire harness unbolt the cooling lines to the radiator remove bolts from transmission for tork converter remove bolts from bell housing (Assuming it's automatic) and disconnect the motor mount and transmission mount and spend some money here to get one of us to help you threw the process as your going to need a lot of information, since you have a computer you can go to http://www.alldatadiy.com and buy the .subscrption, see it took me longer to type this than to have done the job myself, I'm a slow typer.

You access these bulbs from the inside of the trunk lid. Remove the carpet type cover by inserting a small slot screwdriver in the opening of the holding clips. Remove all of the clips, and the cover comes off easily. Then you can reach in through holes in the metal to access the lights. You will need to twist the bulb holder like you would if you were unscrewing a standard screw (counter clockwise) from the side the wire attaches to the light bulb socket. It's a snap in place fixture, so it can be tough to turn. When it comes loose, it only needs to turn a small amount to remove the light fixture from the socket that holds it in place. Once you have it out, simply pull the bulb straight out and put the new one in. Then reverse the process that you used to take it all apart.

you have a wiring or connection problem. you will need an experienced tech, familar with wiring harnesses and patience.

I would reseat all the engine compartment fuses and relays (all in one small black box- just had roughly the same thing in a Ford van and it turned out to be slight corrosion) and replace any that are blown.

Clean the terminals where the battery makes contact and place a very small amount of die-electric grease on both sides of battery, prob has a corrosion build up on the terminals (white chalk lookin )

The hoses have been disconnected so look under the dash and see if you can see the hoses dangling there if not it will be a vacuum motor, but if you drive on rough roads then they have come loose.

your fuel filter is located under the hood on drivers side by the fenderwell.

try this:

1. Start with key out of ignition, drivers door is open all others closed and
drivers door is unlocked.
2. Insert key into the ignition (DO NOT Turn) and Pull key out.
3. Perform these steps within 40 seconds.
A. Using the power lock switch on the drivers door, perform 5 lock/unlock cycles
starting with lock. Use an even pace and try to go about one cycle per second.
(1Cycle = 1 lock and 1 unlock).
B. Close, then open drivers door.
4. Perform these steps within 40 seconds.
A. Using the power lock switch on the drivers door, perform 5 lock/unlock cycles
starting with lock. Use an even pace and try to go about one cycle per second.
(1Cycle = 1 lock and 1 unlock).
B. Insert the key in the ignition cylinder.
C. Turn the ignition to ON (Do NOT Start) then back to OFF.
D. Remove the key from the ignition.
5. Press any button on remote for a minimum of 1 second.
System should now lock and unlock doors once.

6. Close and open drivers door.
7. Press any button on remote for a minimum of 1 second. System should now lock and
unlock doors. Once to confirm programming, twice to indicate programming failed.
8. Repeat steps 5, 6 and 7 for additional remotes.

THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THAT LOCK JUST THE FRONT DOOR
