Valve Problem?#2 cylinder has 75 psi, #s 1, 3 and 4 have 175 psi compression.

The carbon is not for lack of maintenance. Its caused by bad gas, additives, and oil. As far as $2000. that's about rite for a valve job. To test yourself to make sure its a bad valve do these few steps.1. Remove spark plug at #2 cylinder2. Add a few drops of engine oil into the cylinder3. Now check the compression. This is called wet compression test. If the compression goes up, the valves are not the issue. If the compression goes up, you have a bad compression ring on that piston. If it is the valves the compression will not increase. As a last resort before you pay a lot of money, get a can of SeaFoam and follow the instruction exact. This stuff works wonders.

2004 Honda Stream. Alarm goes off in winter, at

the main reason the alarm goes off by itself is usually due to the doors on the car. the alarm is triggered when the cotnrol system detects that a door has been opened. There should be 2-3 terminals that line up to make sure the door is closed. In the winter they can get frosted with ice or dirty from salt and road dirt. the contacts get greasy/grimy/dirty over time.

if the switches don't make a good electrical contact the slightest vibration can cause them to break contact and trick the security control unit into thinking that someone has attempted to open the door.
The easiest solution is to clean the contacts on the door switches on both sliding doors with isoprophol alcohol.

the doors use a plunger type switch that the door closes against. if either of those switches is loose it couldalso cause the same problem.

clean the contacts on the sliding door and see if the problem goes away. it probably will.

I also like to spray the rubber plunger receivers with a quick coat of silicone grease, this keeps the rubber from getting brittle and makes it less prone ot freezing in the winter. I’m happy to assist further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/jeremy_cd01d4e4178e5a11

I have a 2006 honda 2000 with only 11,000 miles -

Change the engine oil and call it a day. Your owners manual has service intervals listed, and with 11,000 miles, the only fluid I would pay attention to is the engine oil at this time.

2001 honda odyssey - window makes noise, but will

I assume this is the drivers window as it gets used the most. You need a new motor for your window. If you are handy you can order one on the internet and install yourself, if not, take to a garage.

If he is talking about the complete cost after labor and tax and parts that is approx. correct considering the dealer charges about $98.00 an hour now, call around to a local reputable shop you may save $50.00 - $100.00

Engine on honda civic no fuel to motor

I would look into the possibility of an airlock in the line. If it is still accessible, d/c the fuel line and flush it through. This will also help diagnose if there is a problem in the line itself.

S2000 vibration when decelerating

Clutch would show different ugly symptoms - it is definately a warped/warn rotor and/or brake pads from high speed deceleration or "riding the brakes".

Fairly easy to fix, probably 2-3 hours of work for each corner
