(most cars they like to die at 100k miles)and is not possible by any human to answer EOL , end of life.that depends if its Honda belt, or Gates or some china carpsold off fleabay.and air temp, where you live, Climate, Pheonix. or Canada?ok it seems this belt is the first ever to be changed out. Gates is the best.my online links shows 5 engine options, 1.6L to 3L.that begs the question #1 is my engine interference type,if you go to the GATES (tm) ecatalog, you can see if it is or not. using engine type. option as your selection.i pulled up the maintenance tab and it states, 105K miles.but may vary by engine, and for sure if belt is 2nd time.look up this info carefully.and can vary with cars driven extensively in stop and go traffic.hot , and long engine hours, but low miles.i see no chain, on the 5 engines, alldata shows 5 belts.105,000 miles best case USA.168,000 meters 168K meters urgent.? 2.3L is interference 105/60k (60k miles severe usage)3L?i look at Gates and bingo Interference.so URGENT.is it urgent. easy answer?, if it looks bad, it is. get it out of there.cracks, fraying, distortions of any kind.only reality counts. Electric or manual? If you hear the motor (electric) running or you can feel the mechanism working (manual) when you try to roll it down then the window is most likely stuck to the weather stripping and has come out of the track inside the door. If it is electric and you hear nothing then start with the fuse.

Hi Jude, I suggest that you take the vehicle for a diagnostic scan, paying special attention to the crank shaft and cam shaft pick up sensors, Check the wiring to both units and make sure of the continuity. Sometimes a broken cable inside the insulation can have the effect of behaving that way. Regards John

You may want to try pushing fordward harder into the park position while turning the key to the off position. The locking cable may need adjustment. If this does not work, try turning the collar just behind the keyswitch counter clockwise while trying to remove the key.Thanks, Dana

If the car is running, you can probably rule out a head gasket. And even if it were a head gasket problem, you'd probably see the coolant level drop and have white smoke coming out of your exhaust. Have you removed the radiator cap and checked the fluid level inside the radiator? The coolant recovery tank is usually connected by a rubber tube to a vent on the side of the radiator fill mouth, and nothing flows through that tube unless the cooling system pressure increases beyond the pressure rating of the radiator cap, or radiator coolant level drops below the full level, in which case additional coolant from the recovery tank will be drawn into the radiator. This does not normally happen until the engine reaches normal operating temperature and the thermostat has opened, allowing coolant to flow through the radiator in order to keep the coolant for overheating. Again, check the radiator level. If it's OK, don't worry about it.
