All modern pumps run neg to earth, some pumps have two connections Neg -, and Pos +. Others have one terminal and are earthed through the metal body of the pump. so the live cable goes to the + terminal of the pump.

Sounds like you have a bad valve in the rack n pinion. Replacement of the rack should cure your issue.

Hi. I think you better stay home. No car will do 2 feet of snow. Unless you know a snowplow driver that is willing to drive you... Not even 4x4 will do 4 1/2 feet. My advice is stay home till roads are good.

If it is an automatic Honda recommends you only use their own brand fluid, the same may apply for a standard transmission. You can't go wrong if you buy the fluid from a Honda dealer.

You car has distributorless (known as DIS) ignition this means it has no distributor. Do you have a check engine light on ?

Check engine light on ? Hooking up a scan tool and checking for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes would be the first thing to do ! And then using scan tool data list for transmission inputs to TCM/ECM ! If it were a electrical problem the check engine light would be on , most of the time . I have no experience of the model but the pressurised gas struts used for tailgate lifting and similar usually snap onto small ball joints and then a safety device is engaged. Sometimes this is an integrated spring clip and sometimes a security wire clip...

Drain and fill is about 5 and 1/2 quarts. Start with 4 and 1/2. Start it and get to operate temperature. Shut it off and check the fluid. Add till between the v marks.

Possibly a weak fuel pump. Need to have fuel pressure checked.

If it is the correct fuel pump - where it unplugged, it should just plug in where the old one did.

Sway bar links, sway bar bushings, or the sway bar is broken. I would go back and retrieve my money. You would think with this problem(I'm sure you told them), they would have caught this. The first one probably aligned it, the others, just charged you. You have this in front and back. Drift is sway. I would have checked both.
