Why is their oil in my coolant recovery reservoir tank.

It sounds like you have a blown head gasket, have it tested by your local mechanic, he will do a few tests, doesn't sound good though.

1997 civic 4 cylinder, left or right hand threads

it has normal threads (clockwise-tighten) they are just really hard to break loose. i suggest getting a Honda crank pulley tool.

What could cause 1997 honda civic fuel gauge stuck on full

Which direction do i turn the harmonic balancer bolt to remove it on a 1997 honda civic 1.6 liter

Hi: The harmonic balancer bolt is a normal bolt with right hand threads, so you need to turn it counter-clockwise. The hardest part of the process is to keep the crankshaft from turning. An impact wrench is the easiest way to go, but if you don't have one, you can use a large strap wrench or chain wrench to hold the harmonic pulley. I use a section of an old belt to protect the pulley.

Trying to find fusable link in 97 honda civic dx.

There are none. It uses maxi fuses, not fusible links. Here are the two fuses to check that supply power to the ignition switch: fuse 41, an 80 amp battery fuse, and fuse 42, a 40 amp IG1 fuse (ignition 1).

Why does my 1997 honda civic surge at idle

Idle air control. Its what meters the air at idle. They just get worn out and can't find where they want to be for the specific rpm the computer is looking for. Replace it.

Easiest way to pull a motor out of a 1997 honda civic?

Take the whole assembly out from underneath with the trans motor sub frame suspension, ect. It can come from the top but it is just as labor intensive the choice is urs

What is counter clockwise Firing Order

certain manufacturers make their engines rotate 'counter clockwise' to accomodate certain mechanical configurations ,this means the firing order is reversed but still starts from No 1 cylinder , these type of engines are not widely used as like Radial and Rotary engines they are more technical to engineer and so are more expensive
