My ABS light on my 1996 Honda Prelude is on. How

the light will only turn off when the ABS system fault that caused the module to turn the light on is repaired, to do this u need to have the dealer test the system for fault codes, most likely one of the four wheel speed sensors will be defective.

How do i change the manual transmission fluid in

You remove the drain plug from the transmission pan. The oil pan is at the front of the vehicle bottom of engine. The transmission pan is more in the middle of the vehicle. The plug will either be on the bottom of the pan or on the side. For a quick change you drain and refill, but you usually want to change the transmission filter which is inside the pan. To do that you drain and remove the pan, take of the old pan seal and clean the area it was at on the pan. Remove the filter and replace, then put the new gasket on the pan and install the pan and fill

CEL Came on

Take the car to Autozone or similar business that allows free use of their computer scanner. It should give you any codes that it has detected and need to be repaired. Some problems are emissions related and won't cause driving problems. Hope this helps!

96 prelude automatic shift solenoid a circuit

its right on the front of your transmission . each sensor will have 2 small cylindrical peices potruding out of them ... they r real easy to see. and to fix the problem just take them off and replace them. its super easy. but autozone will try to rip u off on them they charge like 212.00 a peice for them ... so buy online for a better deal about 120.00 if u look around.

How to remove and replace blower fan.

Normally it's not too hard, most are placed under the passenger side dash and held on by about 3 bolts or sometimes rivets, with 1 connector for the blower and depending the model, 1 connector for the resistor.
It might require some Cirque du Soleil acrobatics to get in the position to take it off, but it's a fairly easy diy fix.

Where can i locate the heater core in the type S

If you are looking at the engine from the front of the vehicle. on the Right hand side, there should be a metal hump coming out of the firewall. It is on the other side of that hump, and should be acessed from inside the vehicle, behind the dash on passenger side.

Srs air bag lights on does not switch off

When the air bag light stays on it is telling you that the bag is not working. If you have checked the fuses and they are good it should be looked at by a certified tech.

How do I turn off the ABS light on my 1996 Honda

HI. You may, temporairly, shutdown the code by pulling the negivtive battery cable for five to ten minutes. This will reset the cpu, but the light will illuminate again if the neccessry repairs are not applied to correct the issues with the ABS systme. The issue here will, more than likely, bewith one or all of the speed sensors that are located on each wheel axle assembly. These sensors work in unison to insure optimal operation during a skid, or hard breaking situation. In order to isolate the problem, you will need to have a diagnostic scan run on the on-board CPU system. Once the codes are pulled, the read-out will direct you to the actual location of the sensor, and the repairs needed. Once the repairs are made, the CPU ABS alert will be reset automatically.

Back lights are dim on speedometer, odometer

You probably checked this, but sometimes we forget.
The dial on the dashboard to the left of the instrument panel controls the brightness of the instrument panel lights. Turn the dial to adjust the brightness. Also, to reduce glare at night, the fuel and temperature gauges dim when you turn on the parking lights or headlights. You then adjust their brightness when you adjust the instrument panel brightness.
Turn the dial up as far as it will go to return the fuel and temperature gauges to their daytime brightness.
I hope helps and it's that simple for you.

Can I use a regular 87 unleaded instead of a 91

yes u can but you will loose performance and fuel mileage, it will really not be worth the few cents more you pay, if you use the midgrade 89 octane that is a better choice.
