I want to put a b18c1 in a 93 del sol si. What

the easiest, most direct swap is to get a 96-98 b18c1 USDM GSR motor. go to hmotorsonline.com if looking for motor. If you get the USDM harness, you won't have to cut/add wires because of the RHD issue. for the swapHmotorsonline.com and you can contact them with any questions and they will walk you through, i would ask for steve if he still works there. hope this is helpfu if so please leave positive rating.

The tail lights burned out so we changed them. Now

im not 100% sure on what may have caused your problem at first but def. check all you fuses ie: under the hood from where the pos. cable goes to the fuse box and all your fuses inside the car as well if they are good than theres a good chance that you have an overload or open"short" in the wiring or a bad ground.. or possibly even the pos. grounding out...

Fuel pump comes on some time when you turn on the

The relay or fuel pump is going bad. Probably a fuel pump.

Mechanical Fuel Pump REMOVAL & INSTALLATION The fuel pump is located on the passengers side of the engine towards the front of the car. Fig. 1: Fuel system component layout — carbureted models 86835007.gif
Fig. 2: Mechanical fuel pump assembly mounting — carbureted models 86835008.gif
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove the fuel pump cover.
  2. Clamp the fuel lines closed with fuel line clamps or equivalent, to prevent fuel from running out. Wrap a rag around the fuel lines and disconnect them from the fuel pump. NOTE: When disconnecting the fuel lines, twist and slide them off to avoid damage.
  3. Remove the fuel pump retaining bolts and remove the pump from the engine. To Install:
  4. Clean the gasket mating surfaces and using a new gasket, install the fuel pump in position on the block.
  5. Tighten the fuel pump retaining bolts to 17 ft. lbs. (24 Nm).
  6. Reconnect the fuel lines and make sure that they are tightly clamped. Do not over tighten the clamps or you will damage the hoses.
  7. Connect the negative battery cable and start the vehicle. Check for leaks at the fuel pump.

94 del sol auto transmission problem, drives fine

Sounds like a plugged filter. But it is internal. You have to remove the transmission and disassemble it to replace the filter.

when you say wont start you mean the engine spins over but wont run? if so, check the MAIN RELAY, real common. left front area under dash or left of drivers feet area. Sometimes if you rap on it, it may start. I cant tell you what to look for, but find a service book and check it out.

I have a 1994 Honda Del Sol, the check engine

Does it run bad? It could be a poor ground on the same circuit causing it to illuminate. If you replace the computer, it will clear any save data. Try checking all your fuse's( under the dash and under the hood). Good luck.

Makes high pitched sound when starting. doesn't

Have you checked the transmission fluid? I believe the problem is within the transmission, because it wont go into gear. A whining noise, or high pitch noise, can be caused by low transmission fluid, which allows air to get in the transmission lines, or it could be a bad transmission pump. This is for a automatic transmission, since it is what I believe that you have in your car.

I think main(fuel pump) relay on all Honda's located under the dash , driver side , if you look from under the dash it's close to the fender but deep , very hard to reach , small hands will do.
