"is there a plug to drain tranny fluid on a 94 accord with auto

You must either drop the pan or have a transmission flush performed. The filter is only a screen so most people use a transmission flush for this issue.

Replacing battery and alarm goes off

Aftermarket alarm system?? If so it could be anything with that alarm. If it's the factory security system, this is totally normal. When you disconnect the battery and reconnect it, the system resets and automatically "panics" because it saw the power failure. If it's the factory system, simply have the key fob handy to turn it off after you connect the battery. If you don't have a remote fob, just put the key in the driver's door and unlock it. This will override and shut off the system.

No tail lights

no (park -tail-running lights) is dash parking lamps glowing? check the tail fuse yet? 94 accord this circuit is huge, park/tail, up to 20 lamps. are all dead>? front park, side park, tail park and dash lamps all out. this i the red-blk feed. all comments , USA, as lighting varies by country. (laws) license plate light dead too????????? that too is park there is NO RELAY. the fuse 32 feeds the HL (head light) switch and in PARK posistion it feeds 12vdc raw power to all 38 lamps. (side corning lamps, etc) the license plate lamp is key, there are 2 lamps. and both probably are not out. so if they are good lamps and both tail lamps are good and fuse then they must glow, if one lamp shorts as 1156 or the like love to do then it blows the fuse. as does the trailer jack (option) . so fuse 32 park/tail blown or HL park switch bad, if all 20 odd lamps dead. and fuse holds. that simple, and this cars wiring is very simple and nice.

Fuel pump relay

then usually means spark is bad.(damp kills high voltage spark) why guess. why not do the 60,000 mile tuneup now. and amazing , spark starts working... if it dont start, we check spark, first not fuel. why. because if the ECU even thinks spark is bad, it cuts fuel so car dont crash and burn, like seen on TV. that is the way it works. spark first (if compression good ) do the tune up. listed in the operator guide RTM read the serivce page, on 60k listed items ,is this not clear? http://justgivemethedamnmanual.com/honda/honda-accord-coupe-owners-manuals/ 60k tuneups are critical items. (if car is serious transportation)

Transmission Fault code 17

a real DTC code. 17 , 94 Accord the means VSS is dead, vehical speed sensor (miles per hour) so , that begs the question is the speedometer dead or odometer dead or acting funny IN ANY WAY? is this an A/T Car or M/T car, both have VSS, so... cant answer. Auto or stick, ill pretend, AUTO. VSS moves all over the place, in all cars. all models and all years. on this car, its odd. quote FSM: Accords and Preludes use an external sensor mounted on top of the power steering speed sensor in the engine compartment. The power steering speed sensor is gear-driven and controls the steering boost in relation to the speed of the vehicle. An electric pulser unit is mounted on top of this unit and is coupled to it by a small shaft. The motion from the lower unit is transferred to the upper unit; the resultant electrical signal is sent to the appropriate control units. most cars old use the speedometer VSS sensor inside on newer cars 1996 (on avg) the sensor is on the tail shaft. and in speedo. on very new cars there are 3 VSS.... (dont ask) on my 96 car, the tranny VSS can fail and then FALL back to the SPEEDO head. and tranny still shifts but is funky, the FSM covers all this, i recommend getting one, to understand how it all works. your car has and electronic speedometer the VSS orange wire , sends speed data to the PCM, TCM, cruise. the PCM then sets the speedo dial, and uses this info to run TCM controls to the transmission. your orange wire signal is dead or flaky.

Idle adjustment problem

If the idle mixture screw ( idle screw) does not make a difference it is because the idle circuit is blocked . Check the jets for dirt / water . Blow out the system with compressed air.. The mixture is already set by the time it gets to the screw and you are only increasing or decreasing the volume allowed into the engine . There will be no "O" ring but there should be a spring under the head of the screw.

I have a 1993 ford econoline E150 tht won't stay running

id do the 60k mile tune up first. then if still bad. find out if the problem is spark (test spark) or bad fueling, check for flooding at any spark plug. if not flooding (spark tips , read) then try test fuel. if flooded try super secret unflood mode, that is crank with wide open throttle. if ISC is stuck closed, try cranking with 10% throttle (adds the missing air)

97 civic goes out of gear

with foot on the throttle?, (that is called flare) not arguing words! try to say how you drive, not style what you were doing. is engine hot or cold.? eg: works cold,, i then drive and it shifts fine for 1hr then between 2and 3 up shift it flares. see?, learn to count those gears. then see the A/T test on car test for tranny in the FSM or at alldata.com do the stall test. in 1,2,D, and R. , does that pass hot, if tranny fails hot( some fail hot , other fail cold.) thick/ thin ATF is why. the stall test ,is easy, do so for only 5seconds at a wack then reset it 5min. alldata.com, has good coverage so does mitchels. chilton online .sux. the real FSM is BEST OF BEST, get one, did you check levels per the operators guide.(ways and means)????? do a full flush every 50k or drive it till is pukes. is the ATF pink, or brown is the ATF stinking like burned something>? not sweet smell, oops crappy service. ever see this, might have tranny tests, i dont know... they are scans and scans are random in quality, i never own any car without an FSM. get one and read all instances of DO NOT, and "NEVER" and BROKE/Break. there are many warnings in the book telling of things only true for this car. read it.
