When stopping brake pedal almost goes to the
you have 2 things going on here. 1. the brake master cylinder is leaking and bypassing. where it is bypassing is the seal for the rear. it is causing it to leak into the vacuum brake booster and 2. the diaphragm is now rotted and allowing the vacuum to leak. they need to be replaced as a unit now. the booster runs about $200 with core(meaning they want the old part($50)) and the master cylinder runs about $175 minus a $40 core. let me know if i can be of further assistance. cheers.

Take off is slow
Try shifting the gear level from P to 1 and so forth with brakes fully depress. If still persists, check the linkage under the carriage if it is stuck or otherwise.

The temp light on my volvo s70 keeps lighting up.
the only reason coolant would be steaming in the reservoir is if it were steaming out of the radiator into the reservoir. consult local technician to see if your engine coolant temp sensor is operating properly; most likely a bad engine temp sensor.

ETS light is on on my 1999 S70 GLT
The ETS is the "elecronic throttle system". You either need to get a software upgrade for it, most of the time it wont take. More than likely you will have to replace the throttle body. I would bring it to the dealer. Unless you have VADIS there is nothing you can do. VADIS is what the onboard diagnostic computers the dealerships have for diagnosing your car.

Headlight adjustment 1999 S70
on each headlamp assembly, there will be either one or two plastic nuts that you can turn.
If you only have one nut on each, that will adjust the vertical aim of the headlights.
If you have two nuts on each, one will adjust the vertical and the other will adjust the horizontal.
Park
your car on a level ground 30 feet from a wall and measure the height
from the ground to the bulb and mark on a wall (do this for highs beams
and low beams if the bulbs are separate, if highs and lows are the same
bulb, only do it for the lows)
If the headlights read VOR, then
aim the brightest part or cutoff part just below the mark on the wall.
If it says VOL or nothing, aim them 2 inches below the mark on the wall.

Heater and a/c problems
You may need to install a new cabin filter, most vehicles with A/C have a cabin filter to take out the airborne dirt.
Try switching to fresh air and see if you get more airflow then on return air.
