Need to remove the arms of the electric window
The arms have metal balls that pop into a plastic sliders that are at eh bottom of the glass on two places. They have clips on the the side. you need to get them off first. Needle nose pliers work good for me. Then you can pop the arms out of the plastic sliders. Its not easy takes a nice amount of pressure to pop them out.
To get them in, I use pliers to pop them in then install the metal clips form the side.
Be extra careful. I did crack a window once.
Good luck

Go to the dealer and get a new lock set installed. And remotes programed (not cheap).
Sorry to hear that.
Or you can just go to the dealer and get some keys made. Then sell it and get a 1998 its the same thing but made much better,
Make sure to change the home locks too because if they stole her wallet they have her address and her keys so they will come back and rob your home. This had happened to people i know.

My 1999 volvo v70 ets light turns on, how can i
The 99 volvos are notorious for having bad ETS (electronic throttle system). The 1999 was the first the throttle cable was eliminated and the throttle is controlled by wire. You need to replace the throttle control unit and you need to install a custom software that the Volvo VIDA system provides. You have to buy the software and and pay for the software install and the hour for the tech to install it and the replacement of the module.
At first they were making us clean the throttles and installing software but it was useless. They were going bat so much that they had to extend the warranty on them.
This is when ford bought volvo and things started going down hill.
If you love your car, get a 98. I got two.

Radio code
Your car came with a Radio code Card. It slides into the manual cover. The dealer can get the code for you if you cant find the card by looking up your VIN and getting your warranty information.

Oil leak around timing belt area
Oil leak can be attributed to several factors.
1. Gasket failure.
2. Uncontrolled Crank case pressure Failure.
RECOMENDATION:
Tighten both the valve cover and oil pan bolts.
Replace the Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve and vacuum line.,
INFO: PCV
This is a valve causes a negative vacuum on the engine while its running, As to say if it had a leak in a valve cover it should not be leaking while its running, only when the engine it turned off.
Hope this tip guides you in the correct direction to solve this problem.

Look in your owners manual usually there is a little card that has the

You needed yo let it run for at least a half hour at about 900 rpms for it to charge you can go to any Interstate battery and they will charge it and test it and will give you the right battery you will need. Get the highest rated amperage you can get if the battery is bad the higher the amperage rating the higher the life of the battery. If yo plan to keep it for a long time get a 5 year battery, you may want to buy a dry cell battery as well they are very good batteries, You can buy batteries anywhere from $49.00 up to $120.00 depending how long of a warranty you get. I recommend Interstate as they are nation wide and will replace anywhere and will clean and repair cables for you at no cost to you. If interstate batteries is not in your area if yo drive in a lot of different cities and Traver a lot then get one from sears. Both places don't require an appointment and will do it while you wait. Hope this helps. Thanks for using Fix-ya.

Turn on the radio. Turn the key to radio position and wait. This may take anything from 10 minutes to four hours. After the radio is asking the code again, punch it in.
