Have your MAF sensor checked, it may be going out.

ignition is locked,and will not turn over. do you have any suggestions on what the issue could be?

1) The overdrive override switch wiring is shorted to ground.2) The overdrive override solenoid is defective.3) (rare) the AW71/71L/72 has an issue, such as needing a fluid change, valve body is dirty or some other unusual fault. This is quite rare as the three transmissions are very similar in construction and very sturdy.

Try replacing your fuel pump relay,

is there air in the fuel rail? bleed air bubble out

A worn out ignition key can cause this problem too. Jiggle the key around in the cylinder and try to turn the key. If you have a spare key, try that because it might be less worn. Dealers can cut fresh keys if you have the VIN and can verify registration/ownership.

the distributer cap is probly worn-inspect--throttle body may need cleanin/also idle air contol/egr valve--get vehicle scanned its an OBD I system

Most likely cause is the air mass meter also known on modern cars as the MAF sensor. check for any air leaks in the pipes also. any rips in the air pipes will choke the engine.

The code required by the radio is an anti-theft feature. Its put in place so that in the event that your radio is stolen from your vehicle, it will be completely useless to the thief. Take it to your dealer with your vehicle information and they should be able to enter the code there and re activate your radio for you.

my 1989 760 turbo wagon died with no warning wednesday morning. it was running fine, i stopped at the post office for 5 minutes, and it wouldnt start. it still hasnt.
