Radio acts like there is no power
The radio, DVD and CD only function when the ignition switch is in the RUN or ACCESSORY positions .Your problem sounds like the radio and possibly the other affected devices are lacking power in the accessory position. This may be an issue with the ignition switch. These vans have a high failure rate of the ignition switch [not to be confused with the lock cylinder, where you insert the key] The power door locks should always have power. Check ALL the fuses both under the hood [next to the battery] and under the dashboard, if there is an additional fuse box there.
How do i change the
Repair manual at your library or try http://www.manualslib.com/ Mark terminal and wire connectors so you know where to put them after installation.
How do you know you need to change the alternator? Could be something else unless you have actually had someone like a auto parts store test it and they have a good reputation.
How do i fix the blower stuck on high
if it only goes on high, the resistor needs to be changed . It is on firewall ,passenger side of car under wiper assembly behind alternator. not a hard job to do, part is not expensive. you will get low,med , and high back. if not switch on dash panel, or change blower motor, last ,since it is going on- working. good luck
Passenger power door noise opening or closing
Can you be more specific? Is it kind of a glug glug or click click but deeper? If so it is doing the same as my 2005, check the upper roller/bearing while opening and closing. I fixed mine by spraying White Lithium grease on the roller/Bearing
How Do I Fix My Van To Start?
Try shifting in and out of park to make sure that the lock out switch is not the problem. Then check the fuse for the starter. If that does not correct the issue, check the battery cables to make sure they are not loose. If they are, tighten them up. Also, the cables need to be free of corrosion. If they are caked in whitish gunk, pull them off the battery posts and clean and reseat them. If the problem persists, have the starter solenoid checked to see if it has gone bad.
Good luck.
