Where is the ELD on honda crv 2008
Hi, P1289 - Cylinder Head Temp Sensor High InputThe A/F sensor is a planar dual-cell limit current sensor. The sensor element of the A/F sensor is the combination of a Nernst concentration cell (sensor cell) with an oxygen-pump cell, which transports ions. It has a heater in the element. The sensor is capable of precise measurement a= 1, but also in the lean and rich range. Together with its control electronics, the sensor outputs a clear, continuous signal throughout a wide range (0.7 < a< air). The exhaust gas components diffuse through the diffusion gap at the electrode of the oxygen pump and Nernst concentration cell, where they are brought to thermodynamic balance. An electronic circuit controls the pump current through the oxygen-pump cell so that the composition of the exhaust gas in the diffusion gap remains constant at a = 1. Therefore, the A/F sensor is able to indicate air/fuel ratio by this pumping of current. In addition, a heater is integrated in the sensor to ensure the required operating temperature of 700 - 800?C (1,292 - 1,472?F).The response (from LEAN to RICH) of the A/F (Bank 1) signal computed by ECM from A/F sensor 1 signal takes more than the specified time.Symptoms- Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)Possible causes# Harness or connectors (The A/F sensor 1 circuit is open or shorted.)# Air fuel ratio (A/F) sensor 1# Air fuel ratio (A/F) sensor 1 heater# Fuel pressure# Fuel injector# Intake air leaks# Exhaust gas leaks# PCV# Mass air flow sensorThank you.
How do i find the list of options that came with my car?
u could look on ur glove box door. theres usually a tag with sets of numbers prob 5 6 0r 7 rows of numbers in sets of threes .also check on ur spare tire cover or inside trunk area prob even on back of trunk door depending wat make of car u own... hope this is helpful
I have a new key
As long as you have a spare key you can get a new key cut and coded from A Dealer, AAA, even Ace Hardware.
The 2002 models can also use the T5 model key which does not require any coding.
The dealer charge is as low as $50 at some dealers and others it is up to $218.
Outside shops like ACE etc. will generally require that you buy the key from them first. I’m happy to assist further over the phone at

Indicator light came on and
you have some type of exhaust/catalytic converter issue.
Take it to a mechanic and have them pull the code immediately. that will tell you the issue.
if you have a failure in the 02 sensor then I am willing ot bet that the car is running super rich and the exhaust is still rich enough that it is continuing to combust down through the exhaust which runs under the passenger seat. I’m happy to assist further over the phone at

2002 s2000 will crank but not fire
your battery may be dead dead. The electric clicking is a telltale sign that the
battery is weak or depleted and does not have enough juice to turn over
the starter. This is extremely common when the car is left to sit for an
extended period without being used.
the clicking you hear is the starter solenoid trying to engage the starter, but the battery is to weak to do so.
There
are a couple solutions. First you can get a set of jumper cables and
jump the s2000 with anther battery. Once the car is running the battery
will alutomatically begin to recharge.
the second is to buy and
use whats called a trickle charger or 'battery tenderizer' this is a
small device that you plug into the car and it will automatically keep
the battery charged over extended periods of time without the risk of
over charging the battery. If you use one of these it will also slowly
charge yoru current battery enough overnight for it to work in the

I have a honda s2000. intermittent issues
Need a new starter.. Whinning noise probably the solenoid not positioning the starter drive gear with the fly wheel. Basically the "hold in coil" of the starter is not working. Not a bad idea to have a voltage drop test done on the wiring to it.
.
What parts do i need to service my honda s2000
Change your engine oil with 10W30 every 4,000kms. Change your transmission oil with Honda MTF every 6 months. Change your Differential Oil with 75W90 every 6 months. Check the tire pressure every month. Treat the top with a quality vinyl top protectant often (I use Ragg Topp brand). Wash & wax painted surfaces often. Treat the leather interior with UV protectant designed for convertible top cars (I use Wolfgang brand).
That's all I can think of!
Code 1298: Missing ELD.
Electric Load Detector (ELD) Circuit High Voltage Comprehensive, we have no parts books here, we are a tech service, so u will need to trust Honda on this part number, just because it doean't seem right is not a good reson to out of hand reject it as incorrect, this is 40 years of auto repair service work talking here.
