Heat blows thru all vents on every setting
The flapper door that controls the vent system may be stuck, or there is no vacuum getting to it. Or, the wiring to the climate control box, or the box itself, may have gone bad. JMHO.
Ran out of petrol now it wont start
prime it.
try key on 10 time? (on, off, on....)
if the pump dont run keyon,(1/2 cars down) then it must be cranked to prime,or on some cars there is a DLC connector under hood
for pump hotwiring for just this. (oops 2000 dont have it...)
btw : the pump is fuel lubricated and cooled with fuel so you might have fused it (melted it guts out ) running it dry. dont.
id use a pressure gage to see if i could get spec pressure now.

P1457 honda light off but still reads code
The light on the dash, should do a bulb check when you first start the car. (bulb should illuminate for 3 seconds) after that the light will go out. then if there is a code in the computer it will come right back on . bulb could be burned out. a po 1457 is a evap code which is fumes or fuel vapores from the fuel tank .these fumes go through vacuum lines from the tank, back to the vacuum canister under the hood. then these vapors are purged to the engine to be burned with the fuel. you need to check all vacuum hoses going from the tank ,to the charcoal canister (vacuum canister) this is most cases about the size of a coffee can .around the front of the engine compartment. black plastic. with vacuum lines going to it. if there is a vacuum hose cracked, or off .it would cause a po 1457. service manual says- evaporative emissions ( evap) control system leakage (evap canister system) this problem is hard to repair eve for the skilled tech good luck
Rough idle and lost of power
is the CEL glowing key on,, and go off running
i bet not, but if you scan this PCM, with any scan tool.
it will show all the DTC errors. post them.
like P030x.
x = cyl, misfire. and if 0 is all cyl.
misfire always causes lost power.
ever do the 60k tuneup? if not do so.
diagnosis repairs cost way more than any tuneup.
Cap and rotor
my guess, is you did NOT replace the wires 1by1.
and messed up the firing order. (engine size not posted)
or
you bought one of this china,no-name POS rotors that fit 3 ways?
or the cap is on backwards
or the wire terms(HV) not seated.
ill assume the dizzy was never unbolted.
never power wash an engine, you force water to places that never must be...
let it dry for a day or 2.
what does FIRE to plugs mean.
i used a grounded tests spark plug , at the end of each spark plug
and there is no spark.
i ask that, because some posters say that , but only mean
the cylinders are dead, and call it no fire.
takes spark, compression and injection and timing to fire.
