Just bought a 2000 Honda Civic the trunk is wet?? Is there a common place where the water comes from? Thanks

Just replace the weather strip that goes around the trunk. You can buy it online and they are easy to change they just fit to a metal raised lip.

My 2000 honda civic engine light on code p1456

Hey I had the same code and I have a 2000 honda civic lx. My cousin works at honda and drives a '96 honda civic and he has had that code before on his car as well.

First thing he came up with was that the catalytic converter was cracked. We checked mines, and lo and behold, that's what it was.

Look under your hood, and there should be a catalytic converter with a sensor sticking out of it. It is connected to the exhaust manifold and the sensor sticks out of the heat shield. Around the sensor, look for a crack. If there's a crack, that's your problem.

How do i know if its the crankshaft sensor or the camshaft sensor thats bad codep1362

Well, since there are so many electronic components on your car, go ahead and replace them both and illuminate 2 possibilities. They're not terribly expensive and easy to replace.

Signs of a clogged fuel filter

Usually a clogged fuel filter will prevent the engine from revving over a certain RPM, say 1500 or 2000. A weak fuel pump or pump relay could cause it to stop running and then restart. But the fuel system would not affect engine compression.

It is the code for an evap leak (gas tank fumes) check your gas cap to make sure it is tight. Otherwise something has failed such as a vacuum line to the charcoal canister or purge valve.

Stuck parking brake

If the car won't move, the parking brake holds the rear wheels in place, and the transmission holds the front wheels. So one set of wheels should be able to turn if you lift them off the ground.
