My 1990 honda accord for some time has had the s(green) light blinking off and on, had it is solid S green and it seems as it won't shift gears, I don't have power like before? what happened?

The flashing s light means a transmission problem. The transmission computer is under the carpet on passenger side under where you put your feet. Pull down the carpet to see the diagnostic light. Turn on the key to count the flashes to get the code. Pulll a list of codes from the internet. If your trans shifts properly if you manually shift it thru the gears, going from D1, D2 D3 but feels like it is starting in second when in drive at a stop, the computer is probably the issue, and can be repaired or exchanged for a good computer, lots of companies do this ,find 1 on the internet.

My clutch pedal wont come back up after replacing the clutch slave cylinder and master clutch cylinder

if the components were installed right then you still have air in the system that needs to be bleed. even a small amount of air can cause problems.

My accord cylider 2 misses at idle what can be he problem?

If you replace the plugs, the ones that were made for your vehicle. And possibly spark plug wires, it should make quite a difference. Good-Day! It could be a injector making its rough idle on cylinder 2, But do above first!

My speedomenter goes on and off while driving what would cause this

Does it make a chirping sound when its working, and or jumps up and down, those speedometers have a cable that connects to the trans and the back of the unit, most likely it is the instrument cluster, the gears in the speedo unit are plastic and sometimes snap off teeth so they work and stop, my 90 civic used to makes a squeeling sound then one day just stopped working I replaced the whole cluster from a wrecking yard, works fine again. Good luck, you could also check to see if the cable has come loose from the back of the instrument cluster.

Tach stopped working and engine idles but missing bad when try to accelerate

Could be a bad connection between the Distributor and the ECU and the Tach. Could be a bad Tach. But the engine miss firing points to a bad ignition coil in the distributor.

Hi every body. My car, 1990 honda accord ex have a problems. My compressor turn on and off immediately around 5 seconds. I was top up a gas and still like that. The air turn hot and I need your help

Take it to have the A/C pressure checked to be correct. Overpressurizing the system will keep it from working properly, as there is a HIGH-pressure switch that will shut the compressor off. You may have added too much refrigerant.

Does timing belt break automatically damage engine?

No, it doesn't mean that you absolutely have to replace the engine. were you driving when it happened? were you sitting still? what RPM was the engine doing when the failure occurred? These are all contributing factors when dealing with timing belt issues.

I HAVE A 1988 HONDA ACCORD DX,WHEN I TRIED STARTING IT EVERY THING WENT OUT

If there is no power presently, most likely it blew the fusible link, Honda's have a fusible link just off the battery and is located usually along the inside of the passenger fender follow the wire from the battery and you will find it, most likely that is the culprit, good luck.

How do I fix ECU code 4, 8, and 9 on a 1990 Honda Accord?

there is a failing sensor that is energising the limp mode in the ECM. Run the fault codes to see it you can determine what is happening. It may be engine or it may be transmission as both units are protected . Check oil and coolant levels and transmission levels as well as transmission oil temperatures . BY stopping the motor and restarting you are cancelling out the stored fault and resetting the sensor /CVPU but it will reappear again at random. Might be a loose wire connection in a harness to the transmission or the ECM
