could be the water pump ,grab hold of the pump pully and pull it back and forth see if it is loose on there , why would change a motor becasue of a chanin anyhow

You are lucky that you have the replacement as a guide to show you how the original console is held in place. If you are handy, you can get a tool from an auto parts store that will help you loosen the retaining clips in the positions shown on the replacement item. You may need a helper to hold onto the in-place console while you carefully pry on the clips to get them loose. A small, clean rag put into place between the pry tool, your hands and the headliner will help keep things tidy. Good luck

I assume you meant you did something else on Cylinder #1. Did you mean you changed the spark plug cable, or was it the fuel injector? Note: if you mixed up spark plug cables, you will have at least two plugs firing at the wrong time. This will make the engine run poorly, if it runs at all. Look for a sticker somewhere in the engine compartment showing the firing order, and verify that each cylinder's spark plug wire is connected to the corresponding terminal on the distributor or coil pack.
