Overview
This is one of the easiest water pump replacements I have ever done. Below are the steps in the order I performed them.
Remove radiator plastic cover across top front of engine bay
Remove shield on water pump belt drive. Two 10mm nuts and one 10mm bolt.
Remove 10mm nut holding oil dipstick to water pump housing
Remove air filter and completely remove the air box. Set computer to the side safely. (you will be glad you did this step)
Use large screwdriver to move belt tensioner to release tension and remove belt from water pump pulley
Remove clamp from upper radiator hose and remove hose
Remove clamp from thermostat housing bypass hose (do not remove hose yet)
Loosen 4 10mm bolts with deep socket on water pump housing and let coolant drain
After coolant drains, remove 4 10mm bolts from water pump housing and remove housing.
Place special Water Pump removal tool on water pump cartridge and using ½" drive breaker bar turn clockwise until pump slips off housing.
Remove pump and remove o-ring inside the water pump housing
Clean area good with cloth rag or paper towel
Put clear grease on new o-ring and install in water pump housing
Install new water pump and using special tool and ½" breaker bar turn counter clockwise until new pump snaps into place
Remove old seal from water pump housing cover
Put clear grease on new seal and install in water pump housing cover making sure to insert the fitting inside the bypass hose by the thermostat
Install 4 10mm bolts in water pump housing cover and tighten
Re-install clamp on bypass hose and tighten.
Crush up cooling system pellets and pour inside upper radiator hose
Install upper radiator hose and clamp
Use large screwdriver to move belt tensioner to release tension and install belt on water pump pulley
Install water pump belt shield
Re-attach oil dipstick to water pump housing
Re-install airbox and computer
Mix coolant 50/50% with water
Start engine and fill with coolant watching closely so you do not over fill.
Well you can try changing the head light bulb, may be the bulb is faulty........ if bulb is fine then you can check for the ground (green) wire.
Good Luck!!
Thanks
I ran out of gas and i put more gas in it but the
If you ran out to the point that the engine quit, then it will take a long time to get the new gas up to the engine again.
Not sure what you mean that the fuel pump is not on.
It will take a while to get gas to the engine to get it to start.
I have a noise that sounded like a belt tensioner
Take the belt back off and by hand turn Everything the belt turns. One by one turn and feel and listen. Alot of times its the belt tensioner pully bearing. But it could be the water pump, alt.
Check it out it will be easy with the belt off and a cold engine.
My **** wont fit in my car anymore
The car is not at fault. It's you hand and mouths fault, Your legs need to used a lot more. You may need to get a pickup truck with a big motor and heavy left side springs. A guy at work had one and it would haul *** .
I have 3 ipc codes what does ipc stand for
IPC stands for Instrument panel control, here is a typical code repair flow chart, this is for example only and has nothing to do with your car..
P083 = 24x signal high.
P107 = Instrument panel control )IPC) to computer (PCM) data problem.
P137 = Loss of Automatic braking system (ABS) to Traction control system (TCS).
What you need to do is CLEAR all these codes from the computer and see which ones return.
Perform this test.
1. Ignition key ON. Engine OFF.
2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER (^) buttons on your climate control panel for 3 seconds and release them.
3. Diagnostic codes such as above will appear with the word HISTORY or CURRENT for each code.
4. The codes will stop when you see PCM?
5. Push and release the HI(^) button and you will see PCM DATA?
6. Push and release the LO(v) button and you will see PCM DATA?
7. Continue to push and release the LO (v) button until you see PCM CLEAR CODES?
8. Push and release the HI(^) button until you see PCM CODES CLEAR.
9. Turn OFF the ignition and wait 3 minutes and try and start the car. If the car starts and the light comes back ON, Turn OFF the car and repeat steps 1 thru 3 and let me know what codes you get and if they are HISTORY or CURRENT.
10. When you see PCM?, Turn OFF ignition key.
11. Let me know what codes you get and if they are HISTORY or CURRENT.

QUESTION: this is what happen when it did what you told me what to do.
P047 History,P107 History,No IPC Code, P83 History,P137 History, A047 Current, No Sir Codes, T072 History,No Russ, PCM?
ANSWER: You did not follow the directives correctly . If you had, You would NOT have any HISTORY CODES.
Try it again and follow these directives EXACTLY:
WAIT 3 seconds and then proceed to 9.

Water pump seal leaking - engine temp normal
HI. you will need to replace the water pump asap. once the seal is breached its a done deal. Its only a matter of time when the seal completely fails, causing a very serious over heating situation that will damage this fragile engine.
Ac cond 10 amp fuse blows cool. fans quit eng. overheats
The cooling fan relay coil receives the Ignition Voltage directly. The relay is regulated by grounding the control circuit via the driver or the internal switch, a process which is entirely controlled by the ECM.
The driver has been specially devised to supply the ground for the component being controlled.
The ECM monitors the fault line which every driver has.
When the ECM is commanding a component ON, the voltage of the control circuit needs to be low (near 0volts).
When the ECM is commanding the control circuit to a component OFF, the voltage potential of the circuit should be high (near battery voltage).
The fault line status will automatically change causing the DTC to set if the fault detection circuit senses a voltage different from what is expected.
In order to control the high current flow to the cooling fan motors assistance of the relay is sought.
This enables the ECM driver to handle the relatively low current used by the relay
