1998 cadillac horn goes off randomly
Sounds like a bad horn button which is actually part of the airbag. Replace your airbag. They're cheap on e-bay and it's not hard to do. Just make sure you disconnect the battery before doing any airbag work.

Unplug connector at fuel tank, turn key on, back probe signal wire with test light and see if gauge moves. If it moves , replace sender assy.

probably not . A decent bump may have damaged the battery especially if it was old . Have a load test done on the battery first. Check for shiny clean terminals and battery posts and ensure that they are tight. Check that the earth wire is secure at both ends and connected to the engine
Door panel removal
To take off the interior door panel, you need special tools that look like minuter crowbars or claws. You can get them from an autoparts store. The process is to remove all the screws on the interior handles and pads, then you use the tool to slide around the bottom and sides to locate the clips. Get around the clips and pry them loose one a time. If you dont do it in this manner, you risk pulling the clips out of the panel and the panel is a very cheap press board material.
