this is a one time fix most times if it works. with someone turning the key to the start position someone else hits the starter with a hammer not hard but a good tap. may take some continus tap tap tap tap to get it out of it's dead spot but have seen this work 80% of the time if the starter has landed on a dead spot. sometimes you can restart the vehicle again other times not! hope this gets you going to the parts store at least. good luck

Is there a wiring harness on hinge side of rear door, probably has a protective rubber boot covering. If problem isn't the lock out switch on the driver door, then we will have to check voltage and ground at wiring harness.

Check the light green wire going to the HVAC controller. With key in RUN position, you should see battery voltage. Wiggle the wire and see if it stays. If you lose it, you've got an open in the harness.

Sure you can ! But if the check engine light is on an there is a problem , trouble code stored , it will come back on . Maybe not right away but in a day or two . It's best to have a scan tool hooked up an check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes an have it fixed .

Sounds like the sensor is tripped due to low pressure in the compressor you have to get the unit charged and the light will go off. Or take it to a auto parts store and have them put their diagnostic code reader on their and have them clear the codes this may fix it as well

On yours, not really sure. But Cadillac puts fuse panels under the back seat. The fuse covers tell the fuse/relay positions.

ask at the salvage yard they will look it up and give you some choices.

you need a new motor as there is no strain of weight when going down but the full weight of window when trying to go up is too much for the motor to handle.......the motor is worn out

I don't think there is a proportioning valve on this vehicle. They proportion the brakes by making the rear mush smaller than the front. To fix the front wheel lockup, remove the wheel and attempt to pry open the caliper. You might be in line for a brake job since it will likely lock up again due to being old and binding somewhere.

The ac works from electricity and the heater may be vacuum controlled by the same circuit so check for fuses problem
