Hello; To change bulbs remove the cover in the trunk (pull it away) Remove the nut's/wing nuts and the assembly will come out. If you ever have to change any of bulbs that are on the deck lid you will need to remove the covering on the inside of the deck lid, remove the assembly and change the bulb.

Yep, you have to shut the alarm off after interrupting the power supply. Use the clicker if you have one. If you have an aftermarket alarm, you may have to get the installer to look at it.

Check the fuel pressure regulator. It should have a vacuum line attached to it - disconnect the vacuum line and turn the ignition on - if fuel come out then that's your problem. DON"T do this while the engine is hot or you could start a fire!

remove upper engine cover,disconnect battery ground cable,remove throttle cable and cruise control cable from throttle body.remove intake manifold by gently lifting at throttle body end.should be enough clearance to get to starter
Pull-down does'nt work but the motor does
switch on top of pull down mechanism ( looks like 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 black flap of plastic ) is the switch that makes the truck latch operate. replace that switch and it will work again. did this on my 96 sts solved the problem

There is no need to purge the air out of the cooling system as it is self purging on the northstar engine.
The most common overheating problem with the Northstar engine is a blocked purge line. It's job is to purge air out of the cooling system.
There is a small diameter hose coming from near the top of the coolant tank,this is the purge line.
With the engine idling,pull the purge line from the tank,if there is no coolant flow from this small hose,it is blocked and this will cause overheating.If the hose is clear, check for blockage at the nipple on the tank or trace the hose further back until you locate the blockage.
