Drain and refill the transmission completely and see if that helps. As far as the heating and AC goes it can be scanned with a GM TECH 2 scanner to see what the fault is.

The security, antitheft or lock picture/icon is a visual indication that something in the car's antitheft system is failing. In most GM cars and trucks there is a hidden system that most people are unaware even exists. From the moment you put your key in the ignition, there begins a constant line of communication between your key's security chip or transponder, to the ignition's lock cylinder, and then to the car's TDM (Theft Deterrent Module). These 3 parts are in CONSTANT communication. If the key is in the ignition, then these parts are sending signals to each other. The security light illuminates when that signal gets broken, even just for a second. When the signal breaks, the car misinterprets this as an attempt at theft and goes into antitheft mode. The car thinks its being stolen or hotwired because it is not getting that signal from YOUR specific key. This is why the security light turns on and shuts down your vehicle. Grab some refrigerant gauges and take readings. If the low side has more than 40 psi or so of pressure, the low limit switch will close and allow the compressor to run. If there is indeed low pressure causing the compressor not to run, you will need to flush the system after eliminating the source of the leak. If the a/c compressor has never been changed, it is probably the source of the leak.

Yes.....I would take it to a dealer. They can do alot you probably can't. They can run a scan on the TCM, check the electric servos and related wiring. Ect....

These new copmuterized transmissions require much more in the way of equipment, and tools than the older automatics. You almost have tobe a dealer or transmission shop to prperly work on these newer ones.

Not sure about a 93, but usually the low fans come on at 190 to 210 degrees Fahrenheit, high speed comes on at 225 degrees. High speed comes on automatucally with the A/C being used.

You mean thermostat? Locate the top radiator hose hose, follow it to the engine, this hose connects to the radiator housing. Good luck.
