You will have damaged some of the critical electronic components on the engine when you connected the power source up the wrong way.
Until you identify and replace all the damaged components you will not be able to start the engine. To begin with the starter motor solenoid and starter motor will most likely be damaged. You would need to check with a mechanic or auto electrician on all the items that will be damaged as a result of connecting power up incorrectly.
A ruptured diaphragm in the fuel pressure regulator will let extra gas enter the engine through the vacuum line to the regulator. Pull off the regulator vacuum line. Any evidence of gas? Let the engine idle a couple of minutes with the vacuum line off. If any gas starts coming out of the vacuum line nipple on the regulator, then that was the problem. Replace the fuel pressure regulator.

have code E52 PCM Memory Reset how do do this
99% of the time e52 is just telling you the battery was disconnected in the last X number of starts. It will probably go away after a day or two of ignition cycles. If the battery has been pulled then any other trouble codes would have been cleared and will not come back until they are re-detected, May have to drive it a bit to get any new codes to appear to help trace your problems.
Was it running before you did all this or did you break down? code 52 is 'PCM has lost primary battery power'. So the battery was disconnected or the ECM is disconnectedUPDATE: Check the electrical connectors on the HEI and the ignition module, make sure they making good contact. Replace them if not.
There is a way but it requires a code reader sorry that's the only way besides shorting 2 pins on the plug that you would normally
plug the reader into but alas i cant remember what 2 and then you
would have to count the blinking dash lights ......LOL sorry some times i cant help my self, i hope that helps some how.
Good luck!
I like some of these answers these people post , I believe people need an want to have a little more info then that ! The guy can't even spell ! Neads -- needs diagnostic done on it , an what kind of diagnostics does it need ? Well lets see if I can shed some light on the situation ! I worked at a Cadillac dealership back in the late 80's . The climate control panel is electronic an is hooked up to the BCM - body control module another electronic control module an when operating as designed they communicate info back an forth but yours is dead an the BCM isn't see any info . an the BCM has the function of the security system probably too . An it won't let it start ! Your probably going to need a new climate control head ! This system is connected to diagnostics it's self , if you push the off an warmer buttons at the same time it will go into diagnostic mode an show codes , an do on vehicle self test . With out the service manual you can't do it yourself !
check for coil/s operation
check for faulty distributor cap ( if it has one)
check for faulty rotor button
check for voltage at the coil from the ignition switch (should be 12 volts or 7.5 volts )
have the ignition module tested.
BCM that is also called the dash integration module, is located under the glove box. Look inside the car, after moving back all the way the passenger seat. Lie down face up at the passenger side floor and look up under the Glove box. You will see a Rectangular unit with multiple harness connectors.. 1. Instrument Panel 2. Dash Integration Module (DIM) 3. Dash Integration Module (DIM) Connectors 4. Rear Integration Module (RIM) 5. Speaker-Rear (Subwoofer) 6. Dash Integration Module (DIM) Connectors
Did you already checked on the steering rack?
Maybe you need to check from the bottom vehicle also. The leakage commonly occur at the hose joint and sometimes it occur at oil seal on steering rack.
i would think that it has splash shields under the car as well.
so i would drive it up on ramps remove the bolts holding the shields in place, remove the shields, wash the engine, refill
the steering fluid start the car and look for the leak under the car.
Good luck and don't forget your face shield you Will need it!
