Stiff brakes
Sounds like the power brake booster is bad, that is what the master cylinder is bolted too. There is a rubber hose that has a plastic valve in it were it snaps into the booster, Pull that rubber hose out of the booster and off of the engine, Now the end that you took off the engine. You should be able to suck through the line, but not be able to blow through it. If you can then replace the valve, It is a one way valve. If that is all right then hook hose back up to the engine and start engine, You should hear a major vacuum leak at the valve end, put you finger over the valve and it should stop making noise and engine should smooth out. If it don\'t the rubber hose must be leaking or the tube on the engine were the hose hooks to is stoped up.
Leaking water behind fan
The water pump is directly behind your fan clutch. Most probably, it's the pump. Shaft seal is already worn out (maybe because of damage bearing). You have to replace the whole assembly or replace the shaft, seal, and bearing. These items are within the repair kit that you can buy in parts store.
Just purchased a 85 seville
first make sure the compressor is working, then check the air bags if it is,, listen for any air leaks, these may be in the bags themselves or in the lines, even slight leaks will stop the system from working, spray soapy water at all connections and look for bubbles

Have no Idea what it
From what you are saying it seems you have a power drain. Remove both battery cables and use a voltage meter to test the voltage. If you are getting a high reading that would be a drain somewhere in the system. Tracking it down can be a pain, an there isn't much anyone can do to help you with that unless they are there. But check to see if any lights are staying on sometimes it can be something pretty simple. I'll help you the best I can though.
When the car is put
the belts are probably slipping. you may be able to get by with replacing the fluid, if that doesn't work you will need an overhaul to replace the seals.
Stiff brake pedal on 1985
One of 2 issues. Either the BOOSTER went bad or the master. Also check the VACUM hose coming out of BOOSTER, the grommet maybe dry rotted, causing it to lose vacum. Good luck.
