Is the squealing coming from inside the car or under the hood? The A/C compressor runs when the defroster is on. If the belt is loose or worn, it will squeal. The blower is really the only moving part under the dash. If the noise is coming from there, you likely have a bad blower motor.

Sorry i strip and rebuild a manual gearbox and a auto as well but the modern electronics is just way above my head ,this fault could even be the actual computer controlling the gearbox ,i have no idea so please consult a auto box expert

sounds like an air conditioning issue if your only complaint is the fans not coming on when air conditioning is used. you need to have the a/c sys checked out to see if you have a leak or perhaps refrigerant may be low. sometimes you may have a compressor that no longer works so the system may not be building up pressure so the pressure switch does not cycle the fans.

If the key work fine then pop open the back of the key fob and change the battery it could also be a fuse or relay if the radio has been changed then you may have to have to take it in and have it reprogrammed hope this was helpful

Disconnect the battery, Make sure all your doors are shut. You can have the hood up, Then reconnect the battery. (I still had my hood up) Walk over to the passenger door. Use your key to lock the car, then unlock the car. Alarm turns off.hope this works for you

Inside the trans, non serviceable. If the trans has been replaced, it might have an inline filter on the cooler line. But it did not have 1 when new.

check the operation of the clutch. If it is cable operated then the cable needs replacing as it is jammed and holding the clutch pressure plate off If hydraulic then it may be the clutch master cylinder has a blockage in the compensating port which is holding the pressure plate off. Have these items checked out and if they are operational the it will be a clutch kit replacement job. Have it checked out by an accredited clutch and brake shop before you spend big money.
