Track the problem by reverse engineering.First manually connect the starter (u must know how to do it,u have to shortcircuit two points on the starter or inject 12 v in one ,or even pull by hand the trigger if availabile,again,u have to be familiar with).Then ceck fuses and relay.Ceck ignition barrel/immo state.

• Verify the resistance of the knock sensor (compare it to factory specs)
• Inspect for broken/frayed wires leading to the sensor
• Check the wiring and connections leading to/from the knock sensor and PCM/ECM
• Verify proper voltage is reaching the knock sensor (e.g. 5 volts)
• Verify proper grounding of sensor and circuit
• Replace the knock sensor
• Replace the PCM/ECM

check your crank position sensor.

I had the same issue lately with a different car. I took the car to Autozone and they did a quick test of my battery. It turned out that the battery was pretty well shot, but it would work if someone jumped the car off.You may try getting the battery tested to make sure you don't need to replace it.Hope that helps!

you did not say what model of car it is, but most cars have its fuse box under the dash board driver side, or in the engine compartment mostly it is a black box. and the fuse is most likely a 30 amps fuse

i had the same problem and i had to replace the wheel height sensor or something along that line and it fixed it

You'll have to get the back end in the air and see if the drive shaft is turning. If it's turning, but rear wheels are not, it would be a problem with the rear end. If the truck is revving, and the drive shaft is not turning, it would be a problem with the transmission. Sometimes if you have the automatic 4 wheel drive, the computer acts up and locks the truck in neutral. If you suspect this, Disconnect the battery for 15 minutes, hook it back up and wait a bit, the computer will regenerate. It may idle weird for the first minute or 2 while the computer is regenerating, but it will smooth out. Hope this helps, please rate solution
