Space restrictions do not permit me to provide you with all of the GM and generic codes. However, perhaps the ranges will help.
P0100 to P0199 Meanings The computer codes ranging from P0100 to P0199 have to do with sensors within the engine's intake, exhaust, and carburetor. They may indicate a problem with the mass air flow sensor, the oxygen sensor, the oil temperature sensor, or the fuel pressure sensor. In all these cases, the sensors are sending feedback to the PCM which is outside of normal threshold values, indicating that the sensor could be broken, or there could be a problem in the engine's functioning which would cause these values to be recorded.

P0200 to P0299 This range of computer codes indicates a malfunction in the vital parts of the engine's combustion cylinders. There may be a problem with the fuel injectors, the combustion cylinders themselves, the injection pump, the turbocharger (if the vehicle has one), and the throttle/pedal position sensors.

P0300 to P0399 This range of codes indicates problems with the engine's output and ignition systems. There may be a problem with the crankshaft, camshaft, ignition coils, or timing chain. Consequences of these codes could simply be faulty sensors, but are more likely the result of wear on the crankshafts and camshafts, damage to the transmission may result in one of these codes as well.

P0400 to P0499 This range of codes has entirely to do with exhaust and emissions control. Because so much can go wrong with a catalytic converter, these codes indicate exhaust gases spilling out of the engine, water vapor in the catalytic converter, overheating, excess exhaust pressure, or a complete failure of the evaporative emissions control system.

P0500 to P0599 This range of codes is related to electrical malfunctions. There could be a problem with the fuse box or electrical wiring, the idle control system, power steering, or cruise control could all be ailing.

You may have air in the fluid line that's why it goes stiff. As a first course of action I strongly suggest that you turn the steering wheel left and right on max for the fluid to circulate properly. You may need to add up fluid while you perform the procedure. I believe you'll be good after.

Hello: To do that job, you need kent moore thread repair kit # J39345. This has all the tools you need and also 20 time serts. You can not get a lasting repair with hei-coil. They will not hold. I found a new thread kit (J39345 on E-Bay for about 400.00) The kent Moore price is about 1800.00 for the tool. These are you options. Sorry I wish I could have more help. I've only done one job with Helicoil and it was back in less than 3 months. In the mean time GM come out with the special Time-serts and tool.

check the fans in front of the radiator. Make sure they both work. Or if one make sure it comes on with the ac.

the door module is what u rasie the windows up and down with and lock the doors with u dont have to remove the door cover the module just pops out disconect the wiring harnes and replace the old with the new put the harness back in and press it in place and let me tell u this u have to have that new one promgramed with a special gm scan tool there is not many shops with that gm tool but most dealers do goodluck hope i helped u.

Hi, all the problem you are experiencing with the car as regard the engine rev dropping back from 3000 to 1700 after some seconds and other related issues has to do with the engine warning light coming up.
This will require you to have the engine CPU scanned for trouble code's. This can only be administered with the assistance of a diagnostic computer scan tool. You can purchase this tool, at your local auto parts store, or you can just have the scan ran at your local auto zone parts store, free of charge. Once the diagnostic scan is administered, you will be able to isolate the issues that have caused the check engine light to illuminate.
This scan tool will display a print out code and the location of the issue, on the engine, as well. There are Many issues that will cause the engine light to illuminate.
Once you have the codes, it will be interpreted and that will enable you fix the car and the rev problem will be solved as well as the engine warning light going off.

If you mean the pulley that comes out the back of the engine and is turned by the over head cam shaft and it has a small drive belt.This runs the water pump.Hope this helps and let me know if you have anymore questions.Good luck.

sounds like a loose wire

The coolant goes in an overflow tank, back by the drivers side shock tower. If you have the Northstar engine, test for exhaust in the cooling system. That engine suffers from design flaw in how the head bolts fasten to the aluminum block. Extremely expensive to fix correctly. It takes a Time Cert and bare block on the machinists bench. Nothing else works for very long.
Unfortunately, this repair is cost prohibitive, but I did mine, because I really like the car.

Hello:I don't think your car has a PCV valve, see if you have a rubber hose going to one of the valve covers. This will have a small orifice in it and it replaces the PCV valve. Make sure the orfice is open, you do not have to replace it.

Check your vacuum hoses for broken, cracked or loose connections. Attach a Fuel Pump Pressure Tester to the service port on the fuel injector rail and monitor fuel pump pressure specially when engine is losing power. If CHECK ENGINE light is on, perform a DTC scan. Autozone, Checkers or similar Auto Parts stores perform this service FREE of charge.

Sounds like the voltage regulator in the alternator may be bad.

The alternator should be changed in this case.

Overcharging the battery can harm it and that may need to be replaced if the acid leaked out.

Good luck on this repair.

Check the fuses/circuit breaker for the heated seats, check the switch but most likely it is the pad under the seat cover. This is a high failure item.
