Your charging system has failed or is beginning to fail. Most likely it is your alternator beginning to act up. It could also be a battery that has a bad cell and the computer is seeing a much higher charge rate than normal. Most charging systems are controlled by the engine ECM today so the output is monitored all the time. I had to use a coat hanger. Make a hook at one end, shove it down the door and hook it on the bottom of the window, pull up with one hand while pulling the window up with the other hand. It won't stay up unless you leave the coathanger in place, once it's up, and wrap the hanger around the arm rest until you can have the controller replaced, which is about a $200 job.

The old Caddy e-brake release. Most of them will release when you put it into drive, if not you have to go under the dash and right at the top of the e-brake is a button just push it in and it will release. But you will have fix your vacuum switch on the engine and you will be able to see it they go bad

If you can get to the wiper motor board and wiring connections, blow everything out with low preasure air and spray the hell out of everything with CRC QD ELECTRONIC CLEANER. It's fast drying. repeat 2 or 3 times. (make sure there is no power to the motor)This trick has saved me hundreds of $ on many master control switches and LCM's. Contacts could have corrosion on them. It's worth a $10.00 try before hundreds in repairs. Otherwise it could be the multi function switch in the directional lever on the column. the fuel filter is located under the car along the frame once found the inlet side has a plastic line and clip push line towards filter and then depress sides of clip and slowly pull off filter gas will leak out of filter and line then remove filter from mounting bracket and loosen the hex line with a flare wrench 16mm if OE filter the nut size on filter is 20mm some replacements are 19mm but you can hold this with a crescent wrench spin out and remove line reassembly start and run car and check for leaks.

possible internal intake gasket leak. make sure its not trans fluid from the cooler in radiator

Try pulling codes To pull codes, put the key to on position without starting and of the three buttons on the right of speedo cluster hold down the right and left button for a few minutes until the speedo screen changes. Alternately you can get the codes pulled from autozone etc. for free. If you are getting IPM b0429, it could be a control module. Google "b0429 cadillac forums" for more information.

Make sure oil level is full, possible faulty oil pressure sender. replace sender and recheck, if warning still comes up, possible internal engine issue.

will need more info to help but as a rule the first thing to check are the OBD codes as they will pinpoint the sensor/switch that may be at fault, it may just be a low battery but as i said need more info on the symptoms etc

Simply press down on cap and turn counterclockwise. It'll come off like a regular radiator cap. 1.5 seconds
