Could be a bad water pump,clogged radiator.

For Isuzy KB250 D in South Africa it is for the right hand driver pretensioner. Connects also at right front kick panel.

Try unplugging vacuum line from the EGR valve and plug the hose with a 1/4 inch bolt.

Whatever is causing the timing adjust itself at the wrong time. It could be anything from a vacuum leak, to a coolant sensor to electrical problem. By reading all the LIVE READINGS from the sensors & getting an emissions reading will help u narrow down the problem. It doesn't sound like a DIY fix. Equipment needed

Remove the cap from the surge tank. Set the heater control temp to max (A/C in any mode EXCEPT max). Start the engine and idle until lower radiator to pump hose is hot. Allow the engine to cool to ambient, and then check/fill the surge tank and replace cap.

The drain valve is at the bottom of the radiator (as usual) - have fun getting to it!

A verity of thing's could cause shifting problems , besides TPS ! You best bet would be to have it hooked up to a scan tool that can read sensor data parameters . All engine an transmission sensors work off vehicle voltage or a steady reference voltage from the PCM /TCM . Usually 5 volts ! but can be 8 volts on some vehicles . A veteran tech can tell if a parameter is out of limits one way or another . Guessing never works out !

Power Door Lock Operation The vehicle is equipped with power door locks. Each lock actuator is powered and controlled by the door module mounted in the individual door, but the rear integration module (RIM), which is the master control for the door lock system, determines when the lock functions are permitted. The RIM receives and examines the requested lock function from the individual door modules, or from the remote function actuator (RFA) via the class 2 serial data circuit. The RIM also examines the transmission shift selector position and the ignition switch position information available over the Class 2 serial data circuits. If the RIM determines that a lock or unlock function is permitted, it sends a class 2 message back to the individual door modules commanding them to perform that Lock or Unlock function.
