2000 Cadillac DeVille - Page 7 Questions & Answers
How do I remove the drivers seat in a 2000 Cadilac ?
I'm not positive about the DeVille, but I've removed seats from lots of other vehicles, and some of that may translate over here.
There should be four bolts (studs, really) going down through the floor from the seat mount frame. You should be able to find the four nuts under the vehicle's floor pan, after you jack up the driver's side and put jack stands under it (if it falls, it WILL crush you to death). Loosen those four nuts but don't remove them.
Now back inside, feel underneath the seat - find all the electrical connectors. Unplug them ALL. Doublecheck, triplecheck, make sure you get them ALL.
NOW you can remove the four nuts underneath the vehicle, tip the seat rearward to verify that you got ALL the electrical connectors, and remove it. It's HEAVY.

What could cause my 2000 cadillac deville to run 2600rpm at 65mph...no error lights on/or codes
You may have a torque converter not locking. At low engine load conditions at hwy speeds to save gas the engine computer will tell the trans to lock the converter which results in lower rpm. Either the TCC solenoid is not locking the converter, or the PCM has failed and not sending signal to the TCC solenoid. If this has been going on over a week, im willing to bet the PCM has failed, otherwise a good one should catch the TCC if its not working and should throw a code.
Its my best guess with no tools to know for sure. Good luck :)
How to find Wiring diagram for delco radio 09380806?
I would say the simplest thing to do would be to stop by an auto audio shop and he could print you a copy off...because in order for them to install an aftermarket radio they have to by.pass the factory amp and they need that diagram to do so...and Google the cadillac form that also might be a good lead
