Hello, I have a 97

Now remove the bulb & put your volt meter to the
center socket contact & ground your blk lead.

See if you get 12.6 volt back to the socket
If not, then you have a voltage drop before the socket

I hate to suggest a wiring diagram, as your doing good
so far,BUT you may need one, after you get dirty under the
car some more following the wiring

Fan for defrost not fuctioning

On this year vehicle the flapper should be vacuum controlled. You may want to look at the vacuum lines going to and from the vacuum canister in the engine compartment. If it will change from floor to dash but not defrost then you may have a failed vacuum line or diaphragm in the dash from the selector.

Heat not hot and AC

If it stays the same temp no matter what you put it on it could be the electric motor or motors going to the heater core box. It could be your climate control. More info would help. Thanks.

Check the battery condition. This can easily be done with a battery tester. It may be under load and the batter has a bad cell or a cell that is going. Also the starter may be overloading the system. Also an easy test with a load tester.

My driver side power window

If you will be the one to attempt to fix this you may want to remove the door panel and do a physical inspection. Check for gears not mashing together properly or rubber getting to brittle due to aging which may need replacing. Oil or see if tightening up the parts would do it. If the motor gets stuck when you are trying to bring the window up you may need to replace it. Do not forget to inspect the switch and the relays. They may have gone bad and needs replacing.

Temp gauge runs high car

Your water pump may be getting ready to go out or your timing chain may soon break. Often the first problem can lead to the second problem. (not neccessarily at the same time) Check your radiator hose after idling a couple of minutes from cold startup. Shut off the engine, raise the hood, and carefully (making sure that you don't touch anything that may have become too hot) squeeze the hose that connects to the radiator. If it feels very flimsy, soft, or appears to be abnormally larger than further down the length of the hose you may just need to replace the hose. Make sure that the hose clamp is snug. Check your coolant level, if coolant is needed be sure to add the same color coolant that is already in your radiator. Mixing coolants can lead to much bigger woes in a short amount of time.

Need to what Cod #P1258 & P013 & P0174

The 174 refers to your oxygen sensor's bank 2 (driver's side) system running too lean check wiring to sensor and pull sensor to try cleaning and retesting before replacing, 13 is an open circuit on your camshaft position actuator, check connection going to cam pos. sensor 300 is random or intermittent misfiring of cylinders can be related to faulty spark plugs, ignition coils or even a stopped up catalytic converter or exhaust system 404 is an exhaust gas recirculation valve 1258 refers to the ecu (computer) controlling the air/fuel ratio metering this is probably the computer trying to compensate for the other problems the 174 code is probably related too.

you need to replace your thermostat. to do that you need to follow your radiator hose until you reach the thermostat housing, take the hose clamp off and remove the hose. there may be some corrosion so just twist the host back and forth a few times before removing it then remove the thermostat housing wich will be connected with 4 bolts. then remove the thermostat and replace it. good luck

Replaced all four ignition coils on car now ca is

I once used a repair shop that replaced parts until they got it going again. That is when I began doing it myself, You must have a CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. Get a read out on possible source of problem. These new computer controlled engines are not easy to decipher. Fuel filter? fuel pump, look fer it.
One thing I do know if when it quits. Do you have a spark to the plug. and looking down in the carb -do you have fuel spraying inside there? Now days you test the fuel rail.
