The radiator drain is on the back of the radiator plastic side tank in the back it faces the engine, the drain looks like an old fashioned clock winding key head, turn it counter clockwise to loosen while gently pull out to released from O ring seal. You must do this from under the car, it should be on the drivers side. If you have trouble turning it they make a special tool for about $4 that you can buy at any parts store like NAPA or Carquest..

I think all three codes are for loss of memory in the computer.Normally this happens when you disconnect the battery.Not sure how these codes would affect the transaxle.The Northstar is a different bird from other Cadillacs - so these codes may be something different for it.

First off check to see if you are getting power to the motor, if so, the issue is with the motor If you're not getting power then it's a wiring issue & you will either have to trace your wires back through to see in there is a break or corrosion issue, or replace the wires. It will probably be easier to run new wires.

Alot of the time, "no start" situations can be traced back to the antitheft system. Especially in GM vehicles like your Cadillac. When this system fails, the antitheft system doesn't get the proper signal from your key. This puts they car into antitheft mode and turns off the starter to prevent theft. Likely under the car along side rail, closer to rear or tank

you have to wait ten minutes. however if the reader is bad it will not start at all. You use a ohm meter to check the ohms of the key by connecting one lead to each side of the key. It will then give you a reading. You can then email me what the value is and I can send you the resistor or hit a radio shack and u can get one. Then you take the lower dash panel out and locate the small white, yellow and black wires. Now you want to cut the yellow wire, and strip the black one so some of the copper wire is exposed. Now twist the resistor around the black wire that has been exposed and the yellow wire, just use the end that goes away from the key. Again these are very small wires. If you have any questions just ask and ill help ya through it.

First put your battery on a slow charge 6-8 hrs.then check the batteries voltage it should have at least 12-12.8 volts if it does'nt then you need a new battery.If has 12 volts after its charged and goes dead after its installed in the car then you need a new alternato.

Check all your little lights. Under the hood, trunk, glove box wherever a little light is.90% of the time that's the cause on my customers vehicles.Try that and if that isn't it let us know, it could be a voltage drain and they sometimes aren't easy to find.

This is common for Cadillacs and GM's in general. The security system GM used since the mid 80's is the most common failure on their vehicles. The cost to fix is rather expensive and trying to isolate the problem is even harder. Ive had great luck with just bypassing the whole entire system perminantly. Your window regulator probably went out though you didn't describe any symptoms but at first instant, the regulator is suspected to be bad. Also Disconnect the Switch. Check to see if you have power to the window motor.. if so then the window motor is bad, if not the switch is bad. Briefly supply a Fused (20amp) + power to the DARK BLUE wire & Ground - to the BROWN wire at the Window Motor 2 wires. This should roll the window UP. If it goes down (sometimes GM wiring is not correct), reverse the wires. If the Window does not move, the Window Motor is bad.
