Unfortunately, This sounds to be a worn out MAIN CONNECTING ROD BEARING(S). Have professionally looked at before trying to start anymore.(To Minimize Anymore Damage To Engine)

Sounds like sluggish movment inside the transmission. I would recommend a transmission flush and refill, depending on the severity of the amount of sludge you may have to repeat.

For me 99% the ignition switch. You can use 94-97 Honda Accord all mode the ignition switch with your 97 Acura cl.

That is not good. Brake Caliper was pressed back in? Calipers werer anchored properly? Torque wrench was used?
