Hi Joey, 2004 was a changeover period for fuel filter location....depending what month your Subaru was built, the pre 2004 models had the filter mounted under the bonnet in front of the brake cylinder, 2005 onwards is in the fuel tank!

If it was a short you would blow a fuse. If it was a bad ground the lights wouldn't work. I think your problem is in the switch itself. You may need to have it fixed or replaced. GOOD LUCK FRIEND.

Most likely you have a bad wheel sensor. Each wheel has one. They aren't easy to change because they are almost always rusted in. They're not cheap either. If you do nothing you will have regular power brakes, in other words no antilock just normal brakes.

sounds Like the Body control module is goin and check your grounds for being Loose and see the could also be in the wiring Harness is a short or the dash panel is shorting out out first by used one then see what happens ther cheap

Under your hood is a plastic box with relays in it, the headlight relay is stuck. Tap it with something and it will release. Probly should replace the relay. See owners manual or google the headlight relay location. Cheap at an auto store.

you have a dry joint or damaged wheel sensor, and the only way to find it is 1 at a time until you find it, these lovely little items effect all your problems mentioned

run fault codes to check for accelerator position sensor problems . Check for vacuum leaks. If cable accelerator then check that the return spring on the end of the cable is attached and not missing.

bad fuel pump relay. when you first turn the key to the run position , not cranking the engine, if you listen close you should be able to here the fuel pump run for a few seconds. if you can't here it you need to replace the fuel pump relay in the under hood fuse box.

check battery starter relay if there is one plus neutral switch after that can check starterand loose connections
