Headlight burns out??

INFO:
Your alternator may be pushing higher voltage.

RECOMENDATION:
Have the alternator checked for high voltage. You can even measure it yourself with a voltmeter on the battery while car is running. it should be around 14.2.

Hope this tip helps.

The compass on my 2002 Subaru Outback is about 180

check for any sources of magnetism near the compass, speakers, phones, mobile phone accessories etc, there could be something in the glove box, empty the car of anything likely to have a magnet in it and check the compass again.

2003 subaru outback mirror glass replacement

You need some bathtub silicone sealer and some black electrical tape and a couple of small wooden blocks. Carefully break out the cracked mirror. WEAR gloves and glasses when you do this and have a bucket to catch the falling glass. Make sure the mirror back is clean and put a bead of silicone around the back of the new mirror. Keep it about 1/4 inch from the edge and some dabs in the center portion. Place the mirror on the back and tape one edge down using a wooden block for a spacer. Then do the other side. Make the tape snug so it squashes the silicone and leave the mirror alone for 24 hours. After that take the tape and blocks off and you are good to go. Hope this helps.

2005 outback 2.5i Where do all the springs go

My best solution for this would be for you to get a Haynes repair manual on your vehicle so you have a diagram and step by step instructions on how to install these properly. This is too important to leave to chance.

Adjust the headlight beam on 2002 Subaru Outback

two screws on each headlight control the direction the headlights are aimed. One screw, usually at the top but sometimes below the headlight, adjusts the headlight up and down. The other screw, located to one side, controls the headlight from right to left. Turning the appropriate screw one direction or the other will change the direction the headlight points.
In order to aim your headlights you need to have a flat vertical surface you can aim your headlights at in front of a level surface on which to park the car. If your driveway is level your garage door is the perfect place to aim your headlights.
The tools you will need for this job are simple. Masking tape is used to mark where the headlights are to be aimed and a screwdriver is needed to adjust the headlights. A tape measure will be necessary to measure the distance of the vehicle to the surface you're using to check the aim and to measure the up and down distances from your marks

I havec tested my ignition coil on my subaru

You are only checking the secondary wind and not the primary winding, but an ohmeter test does'nt allow for temperature change so it is pretty much inconclusive anyway. If any of your local parts stoers can bench test it that would be the way to fly.
