Does a 2001 2.5 subaru
honestly dont know offhand but what i do with some of these vehicles that do have one is when changing a clutch i weld the thing together so they dont give future problems
1. brakes seem to pulse
The pulsation you feel is caused by warped front brake rotors. You will need to replace the rotors and it would be smart to change the front pads at the same time.
I'm having to put water
if there isnt any leeks that you notice then it could be. if it is smoking white smoke it probley is, it will smell sweet.it may not smell sweet if you have only been adding water.you can check it by letting it run with the cap off and if it bubbles even if they are tiny and do not stop after a while then you probley have a blown head gasket or cracked head.check you oil and see if it looks milky.means it has water in it.

Thermastat is sticking causing car to overheat
I assume you have checked the cooling system to ensure that first that it is full and second that there are no leaks. Those pesky little bypass hoses tend to go hard and split if they are over 5 years old. The over heating could also be caused by a clogged radiator or a faulty water pump. If there are no leaks and over heating is accompanied by loss of coolant, then it could indicate a problem with the head gasket allowing very hot high pressure combustion gases into the engine water jacket which boils the water away.
Subaru 2001 outback... oil under the rubber spark
Hi,
The oil in the spark pug hole is coming from a seal in the cam cover.
It will eventually fill up enough to short out the plug. Putting new seals in the cover should not be to expensive. Good Luck!!!!!!!
Need camshaft displacement specs.
Please do not allow engine to rotate during this procedure. Turn engine to rquired position using a spanner on the crankshaft pulley only.

Air cond in my subaru (2001 outback) not working
Try adding some freon to your a/c system. Your local auto parts store may do it for free for you if you buy the can.
If that doesn't help and you don't have any leaks, then it's time fore a new a/c compressor.
Hope this helps a little!
2001 SUBARU OUTBACK, MARKER LIGHTS STAY ON WITH
The first thing I would check is on top of the steering column is a flip switch. Please flip switch. That is put there so you may have the marker lights on in case of emergency. Hope this helps and have a great day.
