On the back side of the drivers strut tower....big silver box with a blue relay on the side.

There is a clip holding the handle in place. It is just behind the handle and not easy to see. This video should help, even if the vehicle is different (oh, and it is not a trick or hack as those are overused terms these days): Window Crank Removal Trick

Check fuel pressure on the fuel rail.

probably the wire to the compressor was disconnected

Check for the voltage and amp at the good light, then the bad one and compare. That will tell you where to start looking for the problem.

Is the sound coming from that wheel or the other one?

This is a problewm I have been researching. On the 91 Loyale there are two headlight relays. The relay for the left headlight also controls the instrument lights and the running lights. If the right relay is working and the left is not, the left headlight will be dim because of a back electrical path through the high beam indicator light on the dash, but the instrument and running lights will be out. I have been trying to find out where Subaru put these relays, but three Subaru service departments have been no help. One dealer's service department told me to remove the large bezel around the instrument panel. I did and the relays weren't there. Lots of luck.

clean the idle control valve with carb or throttle cleaner.and cleanthe butterfly in your throttle with throttle cleaner.or remove throttle body and clean it.do not take apart .

1st check the battery. It can power the lights and radio, but not be able to turn the engine over. Take it out and bring it to a parts store, they will check it for free and let u know the battery's condition. If the battery checks out ok, but has a low charge, then u should check out the alternator, to see if it's not charging the battery properly. And yes, it could be the starter, but check the battery and alt. 1st. If charging system is good, u can remove the starter and bring it in to the parts store for a free check to see if it's functioning properly, So let me know how things check out, I'll help further as u check out the above.

Hi, it is likely you have a bad valve lash adjuster. Pretty common in these cars, as I helped another customer with the same problem. The labor to fix this was a lot, because the engine had to be disassembled. Repair procedures are available if you are inclined to do the work yourself.
