if you have juice from the coil and not out to plugs, trying replacing the rotor and cap.worked for me on my 81 wagon turned out they have more than 1 distributor and the wrong rotor and or cap can keep you from firing, they even looked good but didn't work.

My EA81 engine wasnt starting

when you get coolant coming out of the cylinders when you have removed the plugs and turned the motor over by hand then you have a head gasket leak or cracked cylinder heads or possibly a cracked engine block.the only fix is to either rebuild the engine if there is nothing seriously damaged like a block or heads or find a good used motor from the wreckers and have it put in.
