My parking brake wont shut
OK your question. Has many answers. It can be a bad ratchet on the pedal, a broken cable. there is really no way I can tell from here. If you are a do it yourself kinda guy go and get a haynes/chilton manual and troubleshoot it. Its not a hard job just need a few diagrams and instructions to get it done. Hope this helps. Best of luck

1985 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham 4.1L
#2 fuse should be a 25 amp for your wipers according to my schematic. Please check that is correct. It does not show any relay in the circuit to the wiper switch though. There is a white wire going into back of wiper switch that is the power to switch from fuse panel. If that wire has power going in, then switch must be faulty.

I have a 1994 Cadillac
Hi there,
Yes, you are right it seems like the Fuse again, try changing the fuse with new one.
You also need to check for some short in wireing that cause blown fuse again and again.
Good Luck!!
Thanks

What grade of gas?
A medium octane will be fine(89,92)You dont need any other octane.87 Will make it run a little crappier and make the motor spark knock.Thats not good..But yeah 89,92,93 thats all you need to run.Have a great day

Ac delco says .40 gap, champion says .60 gap why is that?
It doesn't matter what either one of them said. On my car it recommends a .45 gap, I run mine at .32 as it gets a better spark using less energy to jump the gap. On a self inductive ignition system, a good spark is very important. If this were my car, I would drop it down to .35 and the plugs will last longer, and have better performance. There is absolutely no reason you should EVER gap them at .60. This is a low RPM motor, so .40 would be ok, but I would personally put them at .35, and roll with it.

Will not keep runing when you add gas to it
Hi there. Sounds like your fuel pump is shot. Just to be sure before you buy this more expensive part I would change the fuel filter first. If it still wont run its probably the fuel pump. I didnt see what year this car was, So hard to guess what pump it would have, but if its less then 20 years old its in the gas tank.

Ground straps 2000 Cadillac Seville sts
Are you sure the engine is not grounded? Could be the starter relay. To make sure it is not a ground problem use a battery jumper cable and connect the engine to the negative battery post. Also make sure the battery did not lose its charge while working on the belt. Possible key left on.
