I doubt it's the timing belt based on your description. You would have heard some bad noises coming from the engine first and trying to start it would make some strange noises too. I'd check the engine codes with a vag-com and see what errors are showing up

sounds like you need an electrical specialist, which I admit I am not..most of my electrical is on older cars/trucks..these new coputer cars baffle me unless my dumb luck just hits right..good luck..

The hazard switches on some Audi models includes a relay for the turn signals. This was true on my Allroad and A6, but I haven't needed to replace on my TT yet. Part is easy to replace, but about 50 to 75 dollars.

Do you have an auto transmission? If so, Audi / VW use a fluid that matches that description. Also, oil with coolant can take that color too. Where under the car does it appear? Get under there and look to see if you can trace to the source. It will require removal of the sound deadening panel that use a special star shape bit. Because the car is so low, you will need to raise the car with ramps. Do not use a jack to crawl under, that is a major safety risk unless supported with jack stands!
