get your oil pump checked with audi, i didnt, cost me £4000.00 instead of £350.00

I think the auto-lite plugs are probably your problem. yes it sounds like mis-firing. That's one of the few times the check engine light flashes. I'd suggest changing the plugs to a NGK plug, that's the ONLY plug we use in our Audi's and VW's (work at a VW/Audi shop). Try that, and it should take care of the rough running, if not, it will probably need coils too.

It is not recommended by the manufacture to change it,They say it is lifetime fluid.

Call the dealer with the VIN and proof of ownership and they will give you the code.

.... one of mine did this also. I have a 2004, 3.2 Roadster. I thought it was a big deal, finally read the owners manual. It says on page 71:
TO RESET..you have only 30 seconds to complete this.
1. Press the unlock or lock button on the remote ONE TIME.
2. Then, within THIRTY SECONDS, lock or unlock the driver's door with the MASTER key( remote )...
The remote should now work. They say they get un-synchronized when they are used too far from the car. Randy P. near Dayton, Ohio

It could be, yes.

Sorry your Audi TT does not have a reservoir for the convertible top. The top is controlled by hydraulics. If the top does not work you will need to take it in for service.

this is covered in the operators guide and the service manual you lost the OP guide, already? in the glove box.? look under left side of dash at foot level then up and left even use a flash light,! there are fuses there in that Fuse box (cab) and under hood (engine bay) in 99% of all cars made. NO RELAY stated by you , what it does, nor what fails.

change the speed sensors that are throwing the code and then reset codes

I got this free Pdf manual from reliable-store for free and I don't think Ive visited a mechanic or fixya for help for more than 3-4 times out of the 20 times I fixed the chipper in these 4 yearsmust try this bitman and reliable-store. Both are good

You will have to check your fuses cause there will be a fuse for it
If that's ok make sure the unit on the inside of the door works fine
It's the one with the little pin sticking out
Also if the roof light comes on like normal when opening the door then that unit is fine and don't need to get checked then u should check only the fuse
If fuse is fine then it might be a connection problem or the unit that gives the sound tone

I dunno, just a couple of guesses...do you leave ur radio "on" when you turn off ur car?...if radio amplifier causing prob, this would b the easiest to put a on/off switch on it..in the end if everything fails, get an on/off for positive battery side...
