You will need to go on the web and just type in the year make model and repair manual and a few sites will pop up, theres a few thing that would cause the fan to be hot wired.a bad fan relay which is the most common problem this is located on the driverside shock tower area,it has the relay and the fuse, and the coolant temp fan switch may also be bad,

some fuses only get voltage when the key is on

All engines are supposed to get up to 170 degree F very quickly.
Fans are not supposed to turn on until something like 190 degrees F.
The thermostat is under the water pump housing, and you have to take the AC, alternator, power steering, mounts, part of timing belt cover, etc., off to get at it. Takes many hours.
I suggest you first check actual temperatures with a thermometer.
It is unlikely you have both a bad thermostat and a bad fan control switch in the radiator.

Just checked my 95 Cabriolet manual - it does not mention what you describe in their map of the idiot lites on the dash ???????

might need a new light module

the resitors r boken there is a termal fuse inside this module can buy in maplin if u replace thi all back to normal or get the modul on the scrap

Change switch....but check relay in door.

Try a fresh battery in the fob - make sure that you have it inserted with the correct polarity

Sounds like your engine temperature warning lite - thermometer with two wavy lines under it. Upper left hand lite in gang of 4 lites

Try locking your trunk lock with the key and try the top again. The top is interlocked with the trunk latch and sometimes locking the ltrunk will clear the troible.

sounds like a fuel pump problem

hi there is valve fixed on intake manifold with the hose & plug containing three wires that balancing & tuning the engine change it so the car will be ok that costing around 45$ only

Having the same problem. Locked out of my trunk as the remote wont open it, and the Soft top is not working.
My instinct is to go for the simple approach first and check to see if there is a 30A fuse which controls both.

the tire pressure is usually shown on the door placard along with the year and vin #. pressure is probably 32 lbs.

Perform Throttle Relearn' with scanner. If relearn shows 'Failed' or 'Not Completed', possible the throttle body is bad. Not unusual for early T/B to fail in this manner.Do not return to those two mechanics. Any decent import or Audi mechanic will have seen this before. Sometimes cleaning the throttle bore and plate will resolve this problem. Your freindly local parts store ( FLAPS.) will have throttle body cleaner on the self and then all you need is an old tooth brush and some cloth.
