Only way to find the exact problem is to have the engine trouble codes read with a scanner. Most larger auto parts chain stores will read the codes for free and give you a printout. Then, you can inquire about the specific codes and parts needed to fix it.

In the engine compartment, look for a horizontal cover plate in the very front of the black plastic 'cowl', on the passenger side of the vehicle. It's roughly in front of the passenger side wiper blade.

The cover is approximately 2" x 10", and latches on the right-side, remove that cover and the filter is just lifted out

theres little clips on the side of it push them in if still cant open may need some help

have a shop check it out. Did they just change the trans fluid or "flush it", bad things usually happen when transmissions are flushed. check the transmission and power steering fluid levels.

P0128 is Coolant Thermostat ( Coolant Temp Below Thermostat Regulating Temperature ). The thermostat may be stuck open, preventing normal operating Temperature from beeing reached.How is the heat inside the car is it below normal ? Or the engine Coolant Temperature Sensor may be faulty and needs to be replaced. Good Luck and have a good XMASS.

You need to register, but everything is free. I recommend you do some testing to narrow it down to the circuit before getting into the wiring diagrams.

Hello, there are different types of mounts for the wipers. Most of my Ford and Mercury products have a U looped end on the wiper arm. There is a button on the wiper and you push the plastic button and slide the wiperblade off the U bracket.

What is sometimes tricky is the wiper arm goes through and underneath the new blade. When you slide the new blade into the looped end it will lock.

Autozone will install for free and Walmart is kind of neat. Walmart will install free and you pay the same price for the blade as off the shelf.

There are other kinds of mounts. I have seen POST mounts which are simply a post on the end of the arm. But there are different size posts. The plastic clip is removed to these and the blade simply lifts off. Then reattach the clip.

Worthy of mention. Put wipers on and turn off ignition when the wiper is conveniently stopped at a place where you can easily reach them. Some wiper arms can be lifted and they will stay lifted off the glass for service.

The lift arms need to be replaced. There are 2 hydraulic "shocks" that hold the door open. Your local auto parts supplier will have them in stock. I was able to get away with replacing only 1. The one on the passenger side was completely gone there was no pressure left in it all. They are VERY easy to replace, but they are a little pricey. Shop around NAPA, Autozone, will have widely varied prices on them.

Never seem that kind of reading's, what are the reading's? with those kinda reading's could be bad compr.

If Fuse is good then the relay is the most likely culprit

With the 2005 Monterey, you need to activate the system check by pushing one of the command buttons on the lower dash right of steering wheel. Have it do a system check where it will cycle through the various things that it monitors (i.e. door, lighting brake lights, ect.). It will come to the tire pressure and ask if you want to reset it, simply push and hold the reset button and the light will/should go off.

Here is the Helm procedure for this.

Open hte liftgate and remov ethe 2 screw on top of the lamp housing now grasp the light and pull straight back to dislodge the spring clips. Then you can twist out the sockets for bulb replacement.
